Seriously......How am i going to boost my T9 into a station, there is more chance of me crashing into the letterbox or the back of the station.
This is a stupid idea....At least give us a time limit to dock and pay off the fine for some stupid npc getting in my line of fire in a RES.
:(

I agree.
What about ppl who relies on a docking computers as well.
(we all don't own hotas to make boosting in that letter box easy.)

So a small fine thats makes you wanted, trying to dock to pay the fine get scanned lose all them hours in the ship you got.
Also what about the npc's/commanders getting in the way when boosting in,then try and class that as griefing later on.
This is a stupid move imo.

Changing the skin on the ship the same as paying a wanted fine ?
seems to me it should if you change your appearance.
Not really. That's like saying "I painted the car I just stole, the police won't find me now!"

Each ship (similarly to cars) will have a unique ID which when scanned will show its history along with any offences associated with the ship/vehicle

U DO realize that everyone gets FREE paint jobs right except the Anaconda owners????

I don't mind paying anything but make it FAIR to everyone!!!

I wouldn't advise smuggling in a Type 9 - but boosting through the port is doable in the biggest ships - exciting too!

Yes. I must agree. My first "quick dock" with ASP was pretty exciting. Takes my adrenalin level high. I must apologize to facility department of that station, because I scratched their back.
:-D

The "Friendly" fire changes came in with 1.2 so you shouldn't get a fine for just clipping a copper, also as has been said many times in this thread, having a fine does not make you wanted
hmm what changes because im still having to fly back to my station every few hours in a res point to pay a 200 cr BOUNTY because a stupid npc cop flew in front of me while my beams were shooting

Prevent docking after the police 'notice' that a player is wanted. This is the same reaction with committing a violent crime near the station.....this may be an ISSUE... can you be more clearer about this DEVs

Michael has been

If the police notice you are wanted you wont be able to land

Get around this by

  1. Not being wanted at a station
  2. Not being "Noticed" by the police
  3. Using outposts

Oh, no I was not aware of this, you have a good point, though I presume that one will be released after more people can afford an anaconda :)

I thought those changes only applied to hitting CMDR ships? Because I certainly haven't notice any difference in the NPC behaviour. Clip one accidentally in a firefight and every system authority ship nearby starts trying to fill you full of holes, same as always.

They have done.

I agree.
Devs starting to cater for the elitest rather then the casual players.

If you try to use a docking computer to land at a station that you are wanted at, then you are crazy :D Fines do not make you wanted

Pick a station that isn't run by the faction that issued you the bounty, but [that faction] does have a presence in that system, pay off bounty. Simples.

Or they could just fix the stupid friendly fire design
As it stands it's immersion breaking and forcing players to inconvinence themselves more then they already have to for the game is just a moronic decision.

Is it too much to ask that warnings get sent by npcs that persistent firing will result in a bounty, have it apply to npcs as well so i'm not forvever picking up wanted people who only have 400 bounty
