Sorry to disagree but I consider FD trolling us players. Especially when they say that things in 1.2 work in a specific way, while, 2 months after the release they still don't.

You called me impatient. I have a question for you then.

how many months do I have to wait till 1.2 works as it was intended to?

Fourteen. See you in a bit over a year? :D

In my opinion, some if not all your problems with 'wings' will be tackled with the release of 1.3. Doesn't it make sense with such a large rewrite of older code to bring the shape of the game to what you and the other players want, that FD should package 'wings' bugfixes in with 1.3? It does to me and I'm no 'IT guy'...

Think about it; if parts of 'wing fixes' are dependent on how one or more elements in 1.3 being implemented, this is the way it should be done...
All guess work by me of course; but I know FD have completed previous bug fixes in later updates. Let them make the game the way they know they should.

Patience please.

Yeah I do agree with you....they must be fixed in 1.3, I am pretty sure about it, or else more chaos will rise.

Well, i'm an "IT guy" and like you, i know it's all about priorities.
But even the priorities of you and me are not the same.
I don't encounter the bugs that are of high priority for you, so they aren't for me.

MY very personal priority is the fight against hacks/cheats.
Then content.
Then anything multiplayer related... i just don't care about that :(

I don't say my priorities are better than yours (they can't since they are subjective).
Just want to show how "important" can be judged differently.

Three months. But that's only one season, so that's ok, right?

Take your times guys and I know you guys have family as well so dont push yourselves. Family > entertaining us

God bless you all

As long as it brings in new weapons, and no not weapon variants no fresh weapons and missile types ill be happy.

Still a little upset about no Federal corvette

Is there any Oculus Rift improvement to come in the Powerplay release?

And you do realize that OR is constantly changing their SDK in an attempt to improve it right? So which version of the SDK do you think FD needs to focus on to improve the quality of a Developmental product that is still in the Research and Testing phases?

I will be glad when OR releases a way to testing to verify the adjustments are correct. It is rather difficult when trying to use the OR in ED if you can't see a straight line.

That's a bit like complaining that Nvidia release a new driver every 2 weeks so why bother optimising the game.

Any optimisations to the current SDK would very likely carry forward for a while, but it's a trade off on the risk that one day they will need to be reworked. It's extremely unlikely so if Frontier want to improve their VR support (and they probably should, we have a huge contingent of VR users, and VR is a big selling point for the game, being the only real game to actually support it out the box), there's nothing stopping them really.

The latest SDK is a great starting point to work some VR improvements so I'm for that

The current one as of the start of the sprint; in this case, 0.5.

I'm sure the devs have the games best interest in mind, which translates into better experiences for us.

I'd much rather they take a week or 2 or 3 or 4 etc. as opposed to a "not ready for beta" beta release. The less buggy the release for beta, the better.
