why should there...they simply replaced conflict zones with the Crime Sweep Zones and besides faction chosing everything is the same with the slight difference that you only get 10 of them tokens at max per run ..which is .

I'm not talking about PP, I meant the bug where these conflict zones are only spawning harmless/novice NPCs.

- Commanders who cannot load back into the game after a certain type of Hyperspace failure should be automatically rescued to the last system they safely docked in.

Wait wait wait. is the same faliure that happened to Starship 1 now happening to players, or am I much mistaken. (I think that I am very mistaken)

For those upset with possible rank "adjustment". Every rank up to post commander took me longer than the previous one.I think it took 3 nights of grinding around Hors (oo-err) to get PC. Did the ranks not take longer and longer this time around?

Kinda glad I've been on limited play-time and more bothered with going to buy new ships so far since 1.3 :/

The last docked location is the safest location we can automatically return you to, the bug basically caused a loss of your known location. However we can access your last jumps so we'll move the 90 odd affected commanders to their last jump that we can access which should put them close to where they were. This will happen sometime this afternoon, so hold off playing the game until this is done! Otherwise you will be magically teleported.

Okay, micheal I have asked edward this question in a PM, I will also ask you here, will affected commanders (those sent back to their last docked system) also lose their exploration data or will their exploration data remain intact up until the last known location?

I guess they have looked at all the bugs and triaged them all. Then sorted them for time to completion and taken those who could be done fast.
It is kind of normal and a start.

Ah right ok, I think I see what you're saying. This fix only applies to CMDRs currently locked out due to Commander Data (damn that robot)?

So any CMDR currently able to log in, and therefore NOT effected by Mr Data, ought ot be ok to continue exploring?

Damn this thread moves fast.

So many angry people, chill out guys its only pixels.

As they used to say on a much loved 70's TV program 'Why don't you just switch off your television set and go out and do something less boring instead?'

I was wondering if I should start a brand new character with what I know now and pledge to the same power as my favourite twitch streamer.

I wanted to be an explorer, but if there's a possibility I could get transported back to my last docked location because of something totally out of my control - i.e not actually losing my ship in combat smeared across a planet or otherwise crispy fried in a sun - then I could spend the couple of million credits on combat gear and go out hunting pirates and not worry about what's out there.

If you can't promise a 1:1 universe, please give us a smaller but stable sandbox to play in and add more sand. Then when it's stable - open up the rest of the universe in stages to introduce new elements through out what I hope to be the very long life of Elite Dangerous.

Are there any other undocumented fixes that we should know about?

What i do want to know please, if you care to explain, is what behaviour will be implemented on the code to be triggered on this kind of errors (we're talking about the error retrieving Cmdr data from the servers right? So there isn't any misunderstanding) . Because "Close" is one thing. Thousands of light years away is another. Which one is it?

read the thread there was an answer

Devs can say whatever they want in the thread. And we can go "but you said in the thread" and they can go "should've read the patch notes." I've played online games for awhile and if I've learned one thing, it's that it doesn't matter what the devs say on the forums. If it isn't in the patch notes, it hasn't been patched.

Explorers, screenshot the system you are in upon loigin and if this proposed change does in fact teleport you open a support case to get you put back to the place in the screenshot. I really hope the docking station is a typo, I have no desire to return home anytime soon.

The cause of the error has already been fixed, this is dealing with those players who lost some of their data because of it and close will be as close as we can safely make it with should be within your last 5 jumps.
