I've been thinking again (can't help it, sorry):

In the Antares article on Galnet there is once again mention of the Grave yard of lost ships.

The legedary graveyard is suposed to be in Tionisla. No one has found it.

Kerrashs latest hint points to a location. If it does not succeed (scann what it's looking for), it will not unlock.

I think perhaps the UA wants to go there as well.
The UA looks to be made partly of animal bits. On the head it's two almost symetrical parts. It seems to be made of two creatures.

Two creatures found in a box in Deep Space reminds me a lot of these articles from FFE:

A scout class Federation ship, patrolling the outermost frontiers of the Olvebe system has just found a mystery capsule floating in space. The capsule is said to contain the perfectly preserved remains of two humanoids, dressed in alien garments. The Naval commander describes the couple as the most perfect specimens of Human kind he has ever seen. The man and woman are suspected as being clones, as they lack belly-buttons and are too perfectly formed.

Primary tests have established that one of the pair was already dead when placed in the capsule, whilst the other was apparently alive. The alien capsule of unknown date and origin is not equipped with life support or engines, and at present, little else is known. The bodies are being shipped to Eta Cassiopea for further study.

The scantily clad pair were found locked in a macabre embrace when their alien capsule was opened. Our sources report that tests carried out have proved that only one of the pair was dead when the capsule was launched and that the other apparently chose to be hurtled into the void with their corpse-like lover.

The fact that it says the names of celestial bodies around it can only mean that:
1) If things do not match, we can know for sure something happened.
2) We can create an alphabet out of these and use it somewhere or on something.

I wish we'd know whether or not the wings trailer contains hints.

I wondered if dark systems were in or not as the book 'and here the wheel' said about dark systems a lot..........also guys again I must ask but what do we have to say that the UA isn't some kind of beacon or maybe computer core?

My understanding was they were in the original design ideas, and because of that are mentioned regularly in the new lore books, but were dropped and did not make it into the game as released. i.e. Soontill is supposed to be a dark system, but is on the Galaxy Map

I think there is still hope for that. We are, after all, still waiting on major announcements. What if there is a slew of systems that are in the maps already that we can't see yet because they have to flip the switch on some new feature..... like a certain modified hyperdrive that was talked about with Lady Kahina's ship. I can't help but think that somehow the UA is the key to gaining access to such systems. Who knows for that matter they could be long lost original Elite systems that were isolated somehow, or places like Liaququ.... or Miacke. Lore tells us that drive systems have changed a few times over the last 300 years or so.. each advancement moves us away ... or brings us closer to some areas that we may or may not know about.

It's all in the realm of possibility.

I took it there previously but went back during tonight's testing to grab another recording & search. Didn't find anything new or special. No unidentified nav points or special missions.

Have you tried getting it to the Voyager probe? If the UA is made to "speak Voyager", that might explain whale noises and Morse code.

Far be it from me to question the FD gods and defy their datamining edict... but has anyone attempted to actually export a list of names for all the star systems (just the names so no spoilers) is it really 400 billion? Just saying.. there's so many we may be seeing about 100 billion or maybe 200 and the rest is "dark" needing to be activated.

All this UA THING is an EXPLORATION thing: we had so many hints about it. And Sir Michael Brookes loves Exploration, indeed.
Here my LAST suggestion:
The UA must be taken PHYSICALLY at the door of the Regor Sector.
When IT knows it is in a NEARBY SYSTEM, it will unlock the next jump to it. And because the UA is POSITION AWARE, it will act exactly like a KEY, taking you 'THERE'.
Too easy to just hope a permitted system will unlock on the Gal map: the UA must know you are there, knocking at the Thargoid door.

Not that I know of. EDSC and similar databases (including all the trade tools that use them) are based I believe on a list provided by Michael Brookes of the "core" systems, and explorers who submit their systems to EDSC have been expanding it (not all explorers do this, so there will be lots of gaps, or system names submitted but no trilateration distances, etc.) Systems are only "activated" when you go into their instance based on an algorithm (or presumably when you look at the system map on the Galaxy Map as well), so my (very limited) understanding is there are no data storage issues beyond storing the RNG number for that algorithm and any current system state (which is still a pretty massive data storage issue).

Edit: For example, the base system.csv used by maddavo and TD (before it is updated by crowdsourced data) and the like has only 25,866 systems in it. EDDB only has 32,807 according to their web page.

The hint i am thinking has to do with the 75ly from Azaleach where the escorts were found ... So anyway thats where im headed back to

April 28 President announces trip but keeps postponing it.
UA is finally found (May the 4th be withu)- and then president re-announces trip
we get an interesting article in galnet on the soontill artefacts may 18th Article on Soontill artefacts
President goes missing May 26th we get several articles and a CG related to finding her in the following weeks
June 30 we get the beginnigs of the Cerberus Plague ....
