Jeez, you guys really dig in on bad decisions don't you.
Thx for partially reversing the decision on POI being visible from the ship as well.

Tsk tsk tsk!

He elaborated a page or two ago to clarify that the only 'POIs' that won't be visible from the ship now are the rock outcrops and such. Which makes perfect sense to me, frankly ;)

I believe avow555 was referring to the decision not to change the Cobra MKIV

I have to say, I'm very sad to hear you guys aren't considering tweaks for the Mk IV :( If internal game stats show it's unpopular once Horizons goes live, would you reconsider? I'm honestly not trying to be a jerk - It just seems like a shame for the successor to the iconic Mk III Cobra to end up being substantially less popular than its forebear...

If the MK4 becomes as popular as the MK3, it means other ships must become much less popular. Its cool that you like Cobras so much but there are about 28 other ships in the game. ;) The Mk4 has insane internals and hardpoints for its priceclass, and is a very competent miner, combat trader, planetary runner and all-around MP ship. Its better than pretty much anything remotely in the same priceclass for all these purposes, so it clearly has a use for people willing to look beyond "OMG its much slower than the cobra 3!!11!" reactions.

So a better question is: are you willing to reconsider your complaints about the MK4 if it turns out people use it very succesfully?

Still no fix for the axis key assignment for the SRV.

You are not able to invert the axis.

Also you are unable to assign sticks to stick positions you prefer on the pitch function on the SRV.

So either way you try to do it you are stuck with the default.

This is a major control issue for the SRV.

The yaw and headlook issue should be fixed and the next build and no changes are planned for the Cobra MkIV.

Michael

Good for you!

About time you guys stopped litening to all this nerf/buff nonsense.

So the MkIV has major issues? Good!

Not all ships should be perfect.

Every manufacturer produces a lemon now and again.

Still no fix for the data scanner only working when having "firing enables hardpoints" enabled?
(It wasn't fixed in the Beta 4 either. Tried it out yesterday.)
I really would like to disable it again when i'm playing with my main commander.
It's no fun at all paying 7m cr. for a new python because you accidentally hit the fire button inside a station...

Also what is with the strange behavior of the buggy not going forward when rolling backwards somtimes until you full stops
and then throttle back to zero and than forth again with the hotas throtle? I'ts totally annoying.

Will you ever give the Cutter better handling than a T9 or will the top imperial ship and most expensive ship in the game remain useless for combat?

The way firing enables hard points work is that first press deploys the hard points and unless you press it again or keep holding it down until the hard points fully deploy then you won't fire inside the station.

Will there be a change to some ships in the final release? There are a lot of threads concerning parameters of the Diamondback, Cutter, Corvette, FDL...pleeassee tell us....!

Yes, and then you hit the button a second time because you looses focus on the HUD Menu as a head tracking User for a second time and the station kills you.
Fire is my Enter button, second fire is my back button in the menus. Firing enables Hardpoints OFF is an important security feature for me
and requiring it turend ON just to be able to use the SRVs Data Scanner is clearly a Bug.

Looks like it fixed pretty much all the noticeable things I found.

The only thing left really that irks me is the "rescue" missions. The skimmers will attack you or you will get a fine when you have been contracted to recover the pilots. There must be some way to notify them to stand down or for you NOT to incur a fine when rescuing the pilots.

Also the textures flipping from low to high LOD are still an issue for me as of last night. Not sure if this was fixed I'll have to see. But generally its just the hangar bay and SRV controls that flip constantly. NVIDIA 970 with latest drivers.. W7.

Good day, Michael!
Do you get attention of the problem with lack of Internal Compartments on small ships? Do you have any plans to solve it?
Thanks!
