If anyone is interested. Gliese 1269, planet 5 has a pristine metallic ring. It's a bit of a challenge to mine, as the ring doesn't seem to get much light from the star.

I will be having a go at this one. I don't generally get involved in cg's but when the Rats call you have to step up. My rat Asp is currently docked in Jaques with a full hold of hydrogen ready to click sell when the cg comes on line. I wonder what the 'psycho maniac killer' ship presence will be around there? Do we need a defence force present to watch our backs in open?

Can someone give a brief synopsis please on what Engineers are? Sorry if it is something I should know, but I had never seen it before this talk about Jaques and so on. Ta :)

Really?! You're not trolling by any chance are you :)

OK well they're the next upgrade to Horizons (beta should be today), thinking about it Jaques may well not be one as he's not planet based but seems curious all this activity just when the Beta's about to drop so maybe being in with Jaques will lead to a ground based engineer contacting us.

Ok, I'm currently 6 kly out from Sol.... that's about 6 hours of jonking back. Anyone got an address for a decent high tech world to refit my Python from explorer to cargo?

Otherwise, I might just stop at Diaguandri, sort-of on the way.

Oh, and any indications about the tiers so far? Tier 5 = Beagle Point, Tier 4 = Sgr A* or something like that?

I noticed you got answered in the other thread and I'll not be able to beat a full video on it but they're planet based specialists that can modify modules and weapons. Big upgrade to Horizons - you should read the patch notes if you have a day or two spare! :D

Yeah Steve kind of gazumped everyone with that video lol !!! Cheers for getting back to me though man, you are helpful and reliable as always :D And I promise I wasn't trolling - I have had a busy few weeks outside of the game so I think I am pretty clueless to what has been going on!!
