I'm very confused:S
For someone that don't even own the game you sure waste a lot of time on it. Discussing in forums, watching videos, streamings, looking for news...
Are you sure you not a backer?
From which country do you hail, friend?
I aim to be more sarcastic than you folks across the pond.
You don't make it easy...must say.
A lot of the time you're too honest and not repressed enough! When a waiter/waitress says "have a nice day" and mean it... well, we're lost.
EDIT: Then again I'm oldschool. Things have changed a bit but there's still the undercurrent of repression esp. outside the larger cities.
I'm on both sides of the pond at the same time. A bit like those high-fidelity underpanted noodlemen in SC![]()
*Edit* And just to remind folks...

That's the "scope" of CIG's/RSI's booth at Gamescom... I'll see if I can find the link that shows what the other developers' booths are like in terms of scale/size.

Oh boy, don't get me started on repression...Raised catholic in the bible belt...I just assumed women had the same parts until I was much too old![]()

I can tell by your turn of phrase that you aren't a born resident of Her Majesty's isle - otherwise known as "not being British". Now this is in no way a bad thing, but Frontier are a British company and there are a lot of British commentors on this site.
What a lot of folks who aren't British don't realise is that we are a fantastically sarcastic nation. Sarcasm, irony, and pricking the balloon of pomposity is practically born in to most of us.
Success is good, just don't oversell yourself. Failure is also OK if you tried really hard and were honest about it.
However overselling yourself, if it's discovered, will bring down... well, a lot of snide comments and bad jokes.
I have a lot of friends from overseas. What really freaked them out was how brutal we can be to our friends, let alone to people who rub us up the wrong way. Hell, I told bad jokes at my father's funeral and was told that it was a good speech... by my mother among others. Work that one out.
So, we have a company that has legitimately aimed for the stars but in reality hasn't worked out how to smelt iron - and is still selling itself as NASA v2. Yeah, I can't see why a UK-hosted space sim-centric won't extract the urine mercilessly*, and, though I say so myself, stylishly.
* This might be sarcasm.![]()
Raised middle class Protestant (although religion not forced so was atheist by 13!) in a small town.
I managed to repress myself pretty dramatically.
[where is it]
But did get Elite on ZX Spectrum in 85 or 86 as an Xmas present so it wasn't all bad!
OK... so Star Citizen... Erm...
