People are freaking out over an announcement and the new forums that was created recently.

Sticky in the new Arena Commander forum

Greetings Citizens,

One warning before we get started: the updated launched for Arena Commander will completely replace your Hangar Module's USER folder. This is where CryEngine saves screenshots by default... so if you have previous screenshots (or other saved data) that you want to preserve, please go ahead and move them now BEFORE patching to Arena Commander.

Best public teamwork game i have ever seen hands down. A lot of players from there also got Star Citizen.

Also the fact that you can hire NPC's to take capital ship positions is a good alternative. If you don't have a group of people that can teamplay very well as a team you can hire NPC's.

Never played this, can't get off BF3, where most of my friends are :/
But I hear Arma3 guys are good, too.

I have PS2, but never had a team or a friend there so I quit because it was too chaotic.

That thread is pure scam, DFM will be officially announced, don't worry.
EDIT: My launcher doesn't update anything yet.
EDIT2: Ben Lesnick announced over twitter that AC could be released in a few hours.

CIG is an open company. They only release official information through articles on their main page. Any other channel of information is basically the person's word not the company.

So if you ever want to know something about Star Citizen just check the homepage. Also from now on there will be no release dates things will be out when they are ready.

So no estimates or no hopefully this dates anymore. Just curious how the gameplay of Arena Commander will feel like. People have so many different expectations.

No worries mate.

Don't give out enough information and they scream for info. Give them info and they don't believe you and call you unprofessional. Same old story...

Just thought I'd mention that for those interested, the Star Citizen Arena Commander is now updated patched and currently downloading to my computer. It has been officially launched!


I'm extremely excited for all of these great space games and I'm sure there are a number of you that feel the same. Happy flying gents :D

just let us know how the game is. :) I dont follow star citizen, but gotta love those wingman's hangar episodes lold

Should hopefully be a lot of streams on twitch, so I'll be watching! Anyone here going to stream some of it? Assuming the game can handle the influx of players.
