Honestly, it was probably accurately deemed spam. You don't get the point. More than half the thread is spam. But advisories and infractions for it don't happen until the anti-SC mob rises up. The double standard is alive. Do people on both sides get banned? Sure. But it takes a whole lot more for the ED commandos.

The thread would also be a fraction of the size if both supporters and skeptics only dealt in facts, and sourced statements, but the "open development" (and restricted Evocati testers) have left us with this.
EDIT: I'm still trying to dig through material to find quantifiable expectations for the MVP (and the timeline for said deliverable).

I think of badgering as being much worse than a stoating but nowhere near as bad as a whaling.
By querying moderator actions Gordo just gave the mob something to report him on.
Honestly Gordo, this place gets boring when there's no to and fro. Calm down a bit and try hanging around for more than an hour without getting banned, you might learn or even contribute something.

I think he his just frustrated not because of the jokes, but how you can only make jokes mocking CIG/Star Citizen, if its the other way around you end up being reported for trolling/badgering.

On the topic of Star Citizen, not the thread about Star Citizen...what are the casual normal backers, like myself (not, maybe, perhaps, yes?), supposed to think of all this pesky reporting on less than stellar development of a 120 million dollar crowd funded game?
What does CIG/RSI do to communicate to us that the game is on track? Are we all really just dumb cows drooling at the sight of another demo running off of a dev machine (I know I'm guilty of that from time to time)?
Why don't they communicate that it is on track...you know, with like, dates and stuff? All I see right now is a project with no end and incomplete deliverables. Save me from the darkness, I want to see the light but all I can see is brown.
EDIT: I can make joke about ED. It will be delivered after a reasonable delay.

And there is the problem. All "progress" are the demos, and over the years none of it has come to fruition on the client side.
OMG I took a few minutes to watch some of that. I know CIG want 'open development' but watching a couple of talking heads going on about stuff for ages is just... Yawn.
I'm out exploring right now (in ED) and I came here for a bit of entertainment but I have a desperate urge to faceplant a star right now.
If they want to give us backers feedback - PLEASE make some short interesting stuff about what's actually happening.
I like bullet points. Delivered by someone with a smidgen of charisma.
There is stuff we'd like to know, and then there's a shedload of waffle that we don't give a poo about.
