I need to get Blood and wine asap. I finished main quest and (I thinki) all side ones - took me only 80h and now I have a dozen of treasure hunts and Witcher Contracts to finish. I mean, holly space they put A LOT of content in to this game, after playing Witcher, Dragon Age looks like a empty shell of a game. CD Project deserves all the praise they are getting, this was beautiful adventure!

Get Heart of Stone, too. :)

Vlodimir alone is worth the entire DLC :D

When I was level 4, went crazy and took the mission through the cave with Keira Metz looking for Ciri, had to sweat to kill all the bad guys there, including the Black Knight

So that's Witcher 3 and the DLC done.

Here's my blood and Wine ending

- Detlaff dead after he freaks out when syanna escapes using the ribbon

- Duchess Annarietta dead when Syanna kills her at Geralts medal giving

- Syanna dead shortly after killing Duchess

- Regis alive but has to leave Toussaint

- Geralt settles back to his vineyard with Triss also making an appearance.

This took me a while to finish up with. There's very little more I can add to what I think of this series it's just amazing throughout. I'm going to uninstall it at some point and replay it again in a few years to recapture it all again.

Anyone not played this do yourself a massive favour and play it all. Best game I've ever played amazing atmosphere and story throughout.

Sad now it's over.

Here's a review of TW3 by my favourite Youtuber, Gopher:

That review does sum it up in many ways. There are probably a few things I could add on the "negative" side but they really don't matter.

I put 342 hours into the whole game with the DLC I'm damn sure there are missions I've missed out there. Although I got around each map there'll be places I missed.

Ballcocks to it. I'm going to replay it again.

Welcome to the club! I have lost my saves sadly and didn't play the DLC's. There was an option to have a pre-made DLC-ready character, but... I wanted it to be MY Geralt with MY story behind the game. So I am playing again, but I'm not doing the main quest until I absolutely have to. Instead, I'm going after the side quests etc.

Yeah I was going to offer you one of my saves but I completely understand why you want your own.

Have you ever bothered levelling in the alchemy tree? I don't think I could do so without giving up some favourites in the combat and signs trees.

In my last playthrough I've had Combat/Alchemy build and only a few points in Signs tree. It's fun - the potions and decocts last for a long time, which makes fights easier. I'm already missing the long-lasting potions in this new playthrough! I was going to try Signs tree this time, but I can't decide :)

This is the mark of a really well balanced game, that provides for everyone. Signs and potions trees make for very different playstyle (in combat), for sure. Potions make Geralt more bulky and prone to endure some serious trashing. With a signs based Geralt, you will not survive what potions proficiency will allow you to. Incidentally, I found it tends to make me lazy overall, so I'm more of a signs person. I find fights to be much more dynamics while using signs. Plus, when boosted properly, some of them are pure mayhem. Quen, Igni and mutagen boosted Aard will make Jenifer looks like David Copperfield in comparison.

That's given me some hope for using alchemy there fellas. Thanks for the replying here. I'll need to look into this deeper I think.

Signs are amazing fun with swordplay makes you feel like a jedi knight or something. I guess I felt that alchemy made things feel a lot more "passive" but it sounds like it might be worth it. What's the recommended gear set here with alchemy? Light medium heavy?
