Dear FD when you plan to patch BETA on live server?

It takes the time it takes, and I'm pretty sure they know what's wrong with the (state of the) game. I rather them fix 10 issues in one go and it takes 4 weeks, than firehose it every 3 days.

Now saying that, my issue is the lack of info. Before major releases and beta periods we get flodded with videos and live shows from these so-called community managers, while now, nothing, dead silence. I keep wondering if they're on an hour-based contract that is active just in certain times...
Their job is to keep us informed. I'm not gonna mention another game here, but just saying
 
The only thing i will add, either way is, a little more communication from FD about how things are coming on would not go amiss imo.

Yes, it would be nice.

I can imagine its all hands on deck at the moment for the beta and release of PC, and i don't even begrudge them that (much), just as long as they keep us up to date with info about when we might expect another patch.

I know, there would be some grumpy types who if FD said we could expect another patch at the end of the November would grump away, but at least could plan some in-game activities around it.

Of course they know what's wrong- there's the ack'ed bug reports. But why would you rather wait weeks for a summary patch instead of each bug getting addressed as it's fixed? As someone else mentioned, some bugs might not affect every player so waiting for a cumulative patch is not making much sense. Unless there's code reasons which I have no insight into. But one would assume that passenger mission bugs are not related to say the SRV issues.

Really? eally? Does the ED community really need to provide a "list" given the thousands of posts pointing at about a dozen or so gameplay issues introduced with 2.2? That's what the forum is for: a place where customers can discuss the long list of bugs (available throughout the forums with a few minutes work) that the customers want fixed and where the developers can collect customer feedback in order to improve their product. In this thread alone I have seen at least one very organized, well thought out list of bugs to be addressed. Get to work already.

I listed only things which are of 'some' game impact (this is subjective, I agree) and are ack'ed by FD.

^^^^^ this guys this right here is how you ask devs to fix things. Point out your list and make bug reports. The list allows them to see which bugs are common and the reports help them figure out whats wrong to actually fix it. This gets things done. Whining and complaining doesn't help at all.
 
As the title says..... getting bit bored to play this " bug buster" build you have realised to the live server.

So please be so kind and give use estimated time when you finely release normal build of 2.2 instead of this Beta build wich actually never been supposed released in this condition to live server and make from you paid customers are frustrated beta testers.

It may be for something else - but I really sincerely hope the OP was not 'Banned / Suspended' for starting this thread. Yes his tone leaves a lot to be desired but there are a lot of frustrated people out here. I personally have lost millions and millions of hard earned credits in the last few weeks. I've raised multiple tickets and have heard nothing in response - I'm pretty frustrated too.

By posting in the manner above, the OP is bound to get shot down by other members of the forum (and to some extent he deserves to be) but I really hope the 'ban' was not for venting his frustrations here, the only place where people care...

This lack of communication from FD is even more depressing that recent night.

I can't understand any possible reason for them to be so disrespectful to the customer base.

If the patch will take 3 weeks - that's totally fine, but please someone from Cambridge, TELL US something?

Are we in constant position now to question when a 'bug-fixing' patch will release now??? What a nonsense...

A patch for what? Are you a joker? A patch for the absolute rotten batch of bugs that are making many features of the game UNPLAYABLE. Can you inappropriately defend FD any harder in this regards? The OP is correct. This build appears untested. If it was like this at the end of the beta period, and they put it live thinking their 7.99 beta testers had finished their job, then this is nothing less than INSULTING.

I was getting it really bad last night and at some points, while attempting to interdict mission targets (which is already extremely hard to do after the recent patch). The majority of the time, it happens when in station, or in the main menu and it just slows down all animations and game play

Are you using a nvidia card? There is a known issue with geforce experience/shadowplay. Disabling it (or uninstalling) might help.

Regardless of tone policing, the OP is spot on. The OP is obviously ANGRY at the way in which FDEV have passed off the latest patch as finished, when in fact it is clearly half baked.

It's not finished and they are currently working on the next patch which should arrive soon.

Make that 200.000 (the amount of players regularly playing the game without complaining on the forums).
 
One might assume there was no need to be specific with all the countless threads full of specifics...a 5 year old could probably work out the OP means the game needs to be fixed. While the original tone is a tad on the salty side, I find myself agreeing anyway. Your reply seems more about pedantics just fer the hell of it which is even less useful than you imagine it is.

Two weeks...thats pretty amateur actually...considering what was broke, one could be forgiven the surprise of wondering why a simple hotfix hasnt been released. Ive seen tiny dev teams on p2p games react faster than these guys.

Bigtime...and Id ask the "mod" has he been actually playing the game over the past oh i dont know...months?---but ok..how about 2 weeks?

That is not evidence they are at all happy. All we can conclude is that they do not post on the forum. You miss the point completely. I was highlighting how useless it is when someone claims there s no problem because they do not use the feature. Think about it... I just want the game to be fixed, even for those who do things in-game that i do not. I think that is would be helpful if we could ALL have that attitude, rather than a self centered one. Does that not make sense?

I don't know about that. Paying customers implies the buying of a product after all. We bought FD's game. Many people were also kickstarter backers that were paying money for a product - in that regard they are essentially funders of a business' latest product.

We bought the season pass which in its price included the quality assurance that the updates would be playable. FD fixing bugs and releasing bug fix patches is not a 'free update'. It's what we payed them for in my opinion. Also, lots of us continually buy cosmetics to support FD. If all of that does not make us paying customers then I don't know what will.

I never made the claim in the first place, that was NOT my argument. Show me where I claimed the 200,000 silent players = everyone is unhappy? I said it is NOT EVIDENCE THEY ARE HAPPY. I even detailed what I actually meant in the hope you would carry out an honest discussion, see above where I clearly stated " I was highlighting how useless it is when someone claims there s no problem because they do not use the feature". I also asked you if you agree we should all be lobbying to make the game better for everyone, and you just avoid that question and go down your route of being a contrarian. Funny, I just found a post from you saying "How would it harm you or anyone if there would be more time for long range passenger missions?". This is almost exactly what I was referring to, players only thinking of themselves and their own experience. Is something else bothering you today lol?

Not sure to see a difference between people who bought a game (an thus have become customers who have paid) and paying customers.
But even if we're talking about "just random people who bought a game", I don't see how that's an excuse for FD's lack of communication, which I consider far more rude than the OP's tone.
