Cheers - I'll give it a try - though I'll probably rename it instead - just in case

Oh, Payday, I always destroy him during the first head to head run and he cannot damage me at all. So that's definitely enjoyable.
Dev behind the development of the flight model has admitted it himself that the game is unplayable for him. So according to what you have said they have released very ready but unplayable game? Doesn't it sound funny?
AC is not like a cover to the book, it is more like an annotation and a really bad written one.
Well then you didn't have a chance to fight with him longer it's pretty good. I didn't say very ready. I said it was ready for a release. And yes it was ready for a public release but it is not a done product. You are looking at it wrongly and many many people play AC so it's not that it's unplayable.
That developer had to do what he could in the time he had for release and this is what he managed to get done and he is working to improve it but him saying unplayable was a personal opinion because i have seen many people who put more than 10 hours into AC and they are enjoying it and are playing it i know if something is unplayable it just doesn't work or crashes. So many people are playing this and they dogfighting and getting up on the waves as well as playing multiplayer if it was unplayable they wouldn't be able to do that.
But why would I need to engage him longer? It is tactical combat 101 - destroy the highest threat as fast as possible.
I do not see any reasons for protecting them so much. They simply failed to release the game in the playable state. It was not ready for public release as dev and CR would have never said that they had to rush with the release simply to please some people in this case.
Doesn't look unplayable to me : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ullfnNrWM6A
That's mouse & keyboard play.
The game is unplayable with a HOTAS, at least that's how many of us HOTAS users feel about it. It is from this point of view we are saying we cannot play the game with out preferred controller, because it's currently borked.
Hopefully, that will be remedied.

Maybe he configured a few things? No idea but that looks pretty good flying to me.
Indeed. Be the first to lock a missile. The fight is going to last no longer than +- 10 seconds. (with or without missiles)So the mechanics in multiplayer work the same as in singleplayer? You simply face towards your target and shoot?
Sorry, not at all.The release was mainly influenced by the anticipation and the impatience of the fans.
And no, its not more polished than a typical alpha.I feel that the Dogfighting module, especially with Star Citizen’s greatly increased profile, needs to be more polished than a typical “alpha”. There are a lot of eyes on the game, and more than a few people wanting us to fail. Because Dogfighting is the first module that will involve significant gameplay, it has to be good – I don’t feel that we will get a pass just because it is pre-pre alpha.
So we had two choices: either fork development and spend time building something that would involve throwing away work in order to meet the December deadline and deliver something that wouldn’t have the level of polish I’m happy with, or stay on course to build something that would lead directly into the finished game.

There is no dogfigthing. Face towards the enemy and shoot. Ship collisions with environmental objects is extremely annoying. Near impossible to use some keyboard commands. (e.g try to change the power of the shields with just one hand (ctrl + 8/2/4/6)
I am using mouse/keyboard. As Aleksej clearly explained, the game has disastrous controls.

Sorry, not at all.

I am disapointed.
CR : We wanted to get it in to everyone's hands now because everyone was getting impatient.
That's December when the fans weren't as impatient as last month. CR said that they released it because the fans got impatient at E3 and he is right because if it was up to him completely he would have waited even longer because he wanted to polish it and make it more feature complete just like he said back in December 2013.

Yep, checking the comments, he's got a heavily scripted joystick programming thing going on - I've seen some of these configs posted on RSI - macros to quickly switch you to decoupled, do something funky then switch you back to coupled and similar stuff.
That guy is using an X52 (same HOTAS as me), and is doing as well as can be done with it - but you should notice that he is really twitching about when trying to stay on target, and timing his firing really well to get the hits as he zooms over the target in awful over-corrections. My experience is similar, and I get frustrated by wave 3, and it's a case of either exit the game, or throw my pc out the window.
If you are of the opinion that the twitching and over-corrections are pretty much OK, and you are happy with them, then good for you, but I hate it, and reserve the right to hold a different point of view. So I will disagree, but I will not argue.

Precisely...Meaning: "We were not ready but still had to released it".

I am not saying that twitching and over corrections are Ok but we are looking at an unfinished product here and judging it like a finished one is incorrect. It was reiterated many times that these issues are being looked in to so now it's up to CIG to take that feedback and implement it and they are aware of all the issues with AC.
That's called a lie. CIG picked the date to release it, not the fans - and they STILL couldn't make it. And why wouldn't the fans be a little impatient after a 5 1/2 month delay? Regardless, CIG chose the date AND the state of the game to release, not the fans.
Finished or unfinished, I still don't like it!!!!
Also, making out that it's OK because it's not finished is quite illogical, simply because that implies it's fine as it is, but it's not OK, and needs to be finished, when it is finished, then and only then will it be OK - perhaps, we'll see.
But I understand where you are coming from, and I am more than willing to wait for some updates in the hope that my particular controller issues are sorted (from my point of view) - there are some encouraging messages coming out from CIG on the matter - but ultimately we will just have to wait and see.
What will annoy me, and I hope against my better judgement that this will not happen, is that other 'fluffy' stuff, like ship decals, or another towel will take precedence over fixing the HOTAS controls - the only aspect I will accept as being higher priority are networking/multiplayer and CTD issues - again, my opinion only, and food for my irritation meter![]()
That's why i think it's wrong to give away dates if something needs to be given a quarter would be more suitable. But it isn't a lie they developed many things on the way that we don't have access to like their back end which will run the PU and the Cryengine 3.6 integration which coincided right before their release.
I know that many people here are just skeptics but pessimists but there are factors in game development that aren't directly visible to you. I have seen them and i know how it can be. You want something to happen but it takes time and problems happen on the way and then especially in a crowd funded situation where you are funded by the people awaiting the game there can be pressure to release it even though you would like to wait a few months more but that's how it is.
