CR: Without there being an Alpha 3.0? You're going to find that rather difficult.

Backers: Chris - we're not going to buy any more ships. Release Alpha 3.0!!!

CR: Backers, unless you buy more ships you can serve no purpose any more. Goodbye.

I presume I'd have to logon to do that, but I can't. I could email them I suppose, but whats the chance of getting a reply down that road ?

Yes you can send an email. Actually thanks to Derek Smart, and some of the backers contacting the government agencies, getting a refund is not that hard.

If we're sucking up to the mods - I think it's worth pointing out to some of the gallery that the ones that post in this thread can't moderate this thread - according to the rules.

Of course, it could all be lies and they might all be the same person with a crapton of alts!

(it isn't though)

How is this possibly seen as a good thing? At least it's scaled down from the 4 equivalent AAA games that CR was going for! It's like taking a bunch of indie devs who are happily making side scrolling stunt em ups and expecting THEM to pull out a magnificent space opera.

CIG have no track record as a company, and have yet to ship one game. The real shame is that they could easily have produced the first, small game in the SC Uinverse and use that to gradually build the vision.
