Alien archeology and other mysteries: Thread 9 - The Canonn

I'm only an expert of 15 mins after having randomly found trigglers after googling nonograms.

But a qualified yes.

Normally the puzzle is to fill in the grid using the numbers, but you can equally generate the numbers from the grid. There's a tool on the site in java to help set puzzles.

Trouble is the grids on the codices are a bit small to generate 0-9.

Anyway, enough distraction. I need to do some work. :)

so the nanograms do lead to something, so we need planet and system and then surface co ordinates

Imho the ruins are a geometric map of some kind. We're not talking abouts some primitives, star alignment and venerating sun :)

Several factors here:

1. Ruins architecture -inspired from history. All temples used Golden ratio and worshiped stars (gods).
That is the reason we see similar patterns everywhere we look. E.g.
e.g. http://www.weirdgoogleearth.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/cuicuilco.jpg
They left relics on specific points to give us clues for the astronomy part.

2. Astronomy part - right position/moment can direct us to other sites/adventures over navigation beacons.

3. The riddle - no other sites for this one. There is no key, but algorithm. Hints have been provided in architecture part.

Did I somehow miss how the Thoth crash site could be related the ruins? Is the it the extremely long shot of "we repurposed the steps"? That would mean that literally everything could be that step...

Youre missing 4, the offplanet search in the whole sector for other points of interest / other ruins seperate from the hyperfocus on the ruins themselves. I am leaning towards the hyperdictions around maia being unrelated, last weeks CG to build deep space probes is interesting, if it has any after effect in 2.3 we could be finding probes at the absolute outer edge of the galaxy such as beagle point etc

I just got my first Adjudication Error, wonder if it related to witnessing how bad the multi cmdrs in an instance works(or doesn't), ie a ship just appeared inside a other ship(neither were mine and both were landed), telefragged!
I assume it always seemed to takes so long to enter the instance when there were other cmdrs because it was trying to figure if there would be a collision, turns out they don't really check for that anyway!

actually after moving 20km away and landing from the ruins ( exploring a bit further afield for anything else that those all herded around the main ruins may have missed) and the disconnects drop right off

Ooops sorry no my maths is very bad after trying to write my post in a hurry before dinner :)

I mis-counted by 10 so my figure is 167 obelisks, this is taken by counting the number of obelisks in the pictures used to identify the Groups in the OP.

This is good science guys :) I'm liking these theories - wake me up when it is solved please!!!!

I'm back home tomorrow night and it will be a hard decision for me to leave the ruins and go do "normal" stuff until this is solved :(

lol your maths is still wrong ... i count 165 in the map layouts with combinations broken in to groups...

Have been doing another try with geometry aproach and what w e know about guardians, and.... ruin relation to humans and earth has just been confirmed.

On this note, I think I am done for tonight with a hard case of brain exhaustion.

im also checking stations for some of those old (maybe new) brokem messages that might herald clues to future progress, listening posts and unregistered comm beacons may still be out there waiting to be found, so keep searching folks and try to search the ruins but hold off on being over obsessed about the ruins

So the glyph in the middle row:
- has a triangle/square on the left. This is only visible for a short while, then fades away.
- the right side has 3 basic phases. The top is lit, then the right is lit, then the bottom is lit.

So, what if the point of the middle row is simply that the triangle is only visible when the 'top' of the right side is lit up.

If the right side is showing lighting on a planet (or moon), then that could indicate 'morning/dawn'.

So maybe something is only 'visible/active' in the morning? Maybe a shadow or something?

Am I doing something wrong? After doing my best to get all the combo's I came here to get what I missed. I have gone into open, however the obelisk that people have marked as active are not for me and the ones that are don't respond to the combos other people have had success with. Whats up?

Show your working - I'm beginning to think you are trolling me as I was right the first time - knew I shouldn't of doubted myself.

There are 157 obelisks with 2 missing, otherwise it would be 159.

My working is below - where is yours? (taken from these images - https://imgur.com/a/RVZBN#6XexGII)

A = 10
B = 6
C = 50
D = 12
E = 8
F = 8
G = 36
H = 27

= 157

From the same images i added all the marked obelisks that have numbers on the images.... that is 165... -2 is 163

H has 35 is why your math is wrong...
