Major update: The 2nd livestream yesterday answered a whopping 135 questions!!! and thats not including the ones in Hardware Support that were skipped over as "not sure"!

I can answer both myself having been in the beta:
No new missions as such (at least that I can see). But there are now chained missions so doing 1 mission to deliver say 3 tons of biowaste to X station may give you a 2nd mission to hunt down the guy that tried to kill you to steal said biowaste. Or it could give you a mission to transfer 10T of Grain to a different system that they farmed using the biowaste as fertiliser.
Nothing really new but a good step towards branching missions where you can choose multiple paths with different outcomes.
As for the powerplay bit. Nothing new in 2.3
Let me know if you want to have it added as a general powerplay question although this exists:
HaTeMe (ForumsQ&A thread): Are the powerplay changes still planned for the end of horizons start of season 3?
Was asked yesterday on the livestream

Already on the list of questions to ask:
cold-n-sour (Reddit): The 2.3 beta changes wing mining fragments per asteroid from ~60-80 to ~38-50. Any reason for this change, can increased fragments when wing mining be brought back?
Real crew for more risk is on the list of questions:
Peter Thompson (ForumsQ&A thread): Will we be able to pick up Commanders for Multicrew if we are docked on the same station without using Telepresence? If not, would it be a feature you'd consider, have more risk/reward if everyone is actually present in the ship?
The no crews found was inadvertently answered on the livestream yesterday. Beta is a limited pool, there is potentially less matches so a 0 results could be the answer. There is also talk of a bug causing that in the latest version.
So that hopefully will answer the question.
As for more content for multicrew that was answered extensively at PAX 2 weeks ago with: "If lots of people use multicrew and give feedback during beta and after release then yes it will get expanded much further than the current iteration"

CMDR Redcrest (Forums): Are there more ships coming to fill the new 35 max ship slots in stations? A medium Imperial ship with SLF bay perhaps?
Q3 was answered at PAX Q&A with yes the helm can but nobody else can bring missions with them or pick up missions whilst in crew.

Yep it was too late but missing weapons was a question. Ive extended it to include multicannons:
Selen (Forums): Will 2.3 add any of the missing weapons or weapon sizes that are missing, plasma accelerator turrets, railgun turrets, class 4 turrets, Class 3 multicannon turrets?
Ah there were not many questions in the last 2 pages. Updated completely to this point now.
I too very much want that. Or he can give Sandro a cheat sheet if he want's to avoid the limelight
Sectioned those questions Sandro wasn't able to take off at the bottom in the hope that we may in the future get answers.
Yeah, check the PAX Q&A livestream about 2 weeks ago. Multicrew and Holo-me were heavily heavily featured there so those sections got put to the bottom of the list for yesterday. Back at the top again now although I plan to do significant formatting changes over the next weekend.
Up until now sections have been created as more questions about certain topics got asked. To take a good example Mac was grouped together with PS4 and Hardware support. Then there were more and more questions so they organically got broken out. However, for the future I want to try and get at least the headline sections to be stable and unchanging.
If you have any specific questions or whatever either post here or on the list thread and they will still be added for future reference in Q&As
That is awesome and needs to feature in a newsletter perhaps
Updated to here.
Excellent! Will defo be tuning in to the stream later.
and a +1 o7 as ever Alex B
1. Multicrew mining could be fun .. but how can crewmates get paid?
2. Could we see extensions in commodity trader, non-mission profit sharing, in wings too maybe?
3. Do you like spicy food, what's your favourite curry and Chapati .. or Naan?#

Hi all, just a couple of questions:
MISSIONS: Any new mission types coming in 2.3 or in another update soon?
POWERPLAY: Any new content for Powerplay in 2.3, eg. new and different ways merits can be obtained, maybe even Powerplay missions?
Thanks!!!

Can we please beg you to consider putting in the ability to hand over helm control in "exploration" sessions? Explorers desperately want this. Can you at least agree to not rule it out?
Was asked yesterday on the livestream
Here's one.
Have you seen the "year of Elite Dangerous Concepts" thread. Any chance of any of these coming?

Was asked yesterday on the livestream
Q: In mining, we used to get more fragments per asteroid (fpa) in RES when mining in a wing, up to 60-80 fpa compared to 38-50 fpa when mining solo in the same RES. It was a good reason to wing up for mining in RES, and we naturally assumed it was an intended mechanic to promote playing together.
In beta, this seems to be gone, the number of fragments stays at 38-49 no matter how many people in a wing. Was there any particular reason for this? Any chance it can be brought back?

Is there a chance that multi crew will become a 'real' presence thing? The telepresence is good fun, but is for crewmen a no risk option.
I'm concerned also that in beta testing last night, I found no crews to join and when setting up my own ship for multicrew it was a good while before anyone joined me. Previously I have seen quite a few helms looking for crew and when setting up as a helm, crew where signing up in seconds.
Do you think having crew will be popular in the long term?
Is more content relating to this being considered?
Cheers

Sorry another question.
I feel the point of view for the gunner role is rather disconnected.
Do you thing it would be better if you could see it from a turret pov and only restricted to directions turret position can see? Ie there would be blindspots gunner could not see.
Real crew for more risk is on the list of questions:

Hello!
Question: What is the status regarding our beautiful moon? Will we get to land on it during season 2?
Thank you very much!

Are there any considerations to buff the shields on the Imperial Clipper to make it a more viable combat ship or reduce its cost and size to a medium hull?
Will the Imperial faction get a medium sized ship like the federation?
Can the commander still pick up missions if there are other players on their ship?

When I join a multicrew ship, I can't see any orbit lines in supercruise. Is this a bug or by design, and if it's by design, could you reconsider? No orbit lines means no frame of reference, and it makes being a passenger in supercruise very boring.

Exploration!!! what's new with this Beta? how is it advancing the exploration Meta (and ingame tools)
Lots of exploration questions answered last night. Let me know if you have any specifics you want to be added to the list after the latest info.
[Unrelated 2.3 Question]
Similar to the PC's CTRL+ALT+G key binding for turning off the HUD, can there be an option under the "Miscellaneous" tab for the Xbox One/upcoming PS4 for there to be mapping of controller buttons and analogs to perform the same action?

I'm sure it'll be far to late to get an answer for this but I'll ask anyway.
Question: For the sake of completeness in multicrew: Are there any plans for a large turretted multicannon? It sucks that the only options for large kinetic weapons that a gunner can use are cannons and frag cannons, both of which burn through ammo quickly.
Yep it was too late but missing weapons was a question. Ive extended it to include multicannons:

I'm wondering if we could get a Q&A with Chris Gregory at some point for the questions Sandy wasn't able to take?

Thx for the link!
Sad to see that from this link nothing related to the state of multicrew and gunner role needs a lot of fixes to be efficient.... Same thing, got no feedback from Devs in the feedback thread of multicrew (where some really good feedback have been made)....
The number of "no comment", "no ETA", "no guaranties", "don't know" leaves me quite disturbed too

Decided to do a wordle of Sandy's (admittedly transcribed) responses (I blame the hangover) ...

Turns out we need to call him: Sandy "no comment at the moment" Sammarco.
