2nd Edit: Interestingly, the stuff by walt on the front page contradicts itself... in one comment it says it's missions and combat actions that affect influence in a war state... but in a picture in the same post...

Has anyone ever witnessed the following scenario?
1) Faction X controls at least one asset in some system Y, but is not the controlling faction of that system
2) Faction X gets pushed down to 1.0% influence in system Y and starts a Retreat state
3) ????
I assumed a faction can never retreat from a system if they owned assets in it. I mean...who will control the assets owned by that faction after they leave? But today, I witnessed that the Retreat state can happen, but I wonder whether it can actually succeed (as in, faction X leaving system Y) and if so, what would happen to the assets owned by X?

Tick 'late' again today?
I like quiet, but if you take a day off, it's quite difficult to know if the tick has occurred or not.Quite true. My area remains nominal tho, the blessings of a quiet region to live in. lol

Alas, sometimes the dreamtime is hard to resist.A day off? you think this is some kind of game?![]()
Looks like the Tick has shifted to 10.30 PM UK time.
Will keep an eye on it. Early evening tick was perfect as it allowed us to set up ops for the Euro and US evening time players. Now its less than optimal, particularly if emergency action is required!
No kidding. My sheet has sporadic days marked off as missed for the last month now.I like quiet, but if you take a day off, it's quite difficult to know if the tick has occurred or not.

The tick is implemented in three phases. Description here: https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showt...ing-the-Tick?p=5737544&viewfull=1#post5737544Is that 22:30 GMT, or 22:30 BST?
Last night I arrived back at our Home System at 22:15:46 (Journal Timestamp), or 23:15 UK time (I know, on a work night!!) and when I docked the System Status (via Starport Services) displayed updated Influences, whilst the System Status on the Right Menu and the Factions on the System Map showed the old figures, meaning that none of my journey was correctly tracked in the EDDN.
Is there a new delay in the middle of the Click? Actually, yes, there is. But is it meant to be there or a bug?
