Don't ask me - I've just read it all and my brain has gone numb!
Be careful man, only a little dose at a time!

You claim to have exploited 9000 rolls, that's 8999 rolls over the "I just tried it for science and to prove it was a problem to FDEV when I reported it" credibility threshold.
Obviously as a legit player I automatically disbelieve absolutely everything you ever say, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt on you having cheated thousands of times.
Off topic but i can't let people put words I never said : "I just tried it for science and to prove it was a problem to FDEV when I reported it" is your assumption.
I 100% admitted and assumed i used this exploit. I also stopped using it once FDev said it was an exploit that could makes you banned.

And because exploited modules have been removed i am as legit as you are.
I'm legit.
Still does not change the fact other PVEers were not. A lot of people took advantage of this stuff. Not just PVPers.
Just because you didnt. Does not mean there is not an imbalance to begin with. And just because you are "legit" Does not mean it makes whats happening in the game right now okay.

I think you make a great point with this and several other posts before. There was an exploit with the engineers>it was utilized by some who were aware of it the same as several dozen other big exploits are used in the game> Fdev weighed in and said it was unintentional and closed the loop and removed the exploit and also the exploited modules>end of story. The only difference between this exploit and the, say, 17 Draconis Skimmer for Massacre Missions exploit, is that Fdev removed the modules and has done squat about the mega-flation credits.
At the end of the day the 5/1 exploit was exactly the same as any of the others, and utilized for exactly the same reason as any of the others, but the key difference is that it was the "smoking gun" piece of evidence of skullduggery against PvPers that PvErs have fantasies about; an exploit that didn't affect them and that they didn't know about (supposedly) that allowed them to climb up on their collective soapboxes and point the trembling finger of almighty righteous indignation at their mortal enemies and screech "GUILTY!!!!!"
Meanwhile happily going about their business utilizing all of the other exploits that Fdev didn't seem to deem fit to address.

Nope, it was using the 5-1 exploit in secret for a year whilst telling the legit players to "git-gud" that did most of the credibility damage.
As for "almighty righteous indignation" adding cheats to your block list and getting on with the game isn't really a big deal.
Speak for yourself, I don't exploit.
Stop it, it doesnt directly apply to you. And it doesn't change the fact others took advantage of it that dont PVP. Just like you reamed be for saying "everyone" in a post I made, does not mean you represent "everyone" either. Door swings both ways brother.
There are lots of people running around that used the money exploit and the engineers exploit. And one was favored over the other.
And to be quite honest. I dont blame anyone for using them. However, I do believe people feel griefed because of them. Because they really do give people an unfair advantage over others. As not everyone knows or uses them. They arent the basic mission you get unless you go to that specific area. Ceos and sothis, Robigo, ect.
Level playing field dude. Thats all anyone is asking for. And its a major reason why people feel "griefed". Because you have to take advantage of those things because others do.
No one wanted to use the g1/g5 exploits. But PVPers did because others did. And they did it for the level playing field. If one person did it. They were the king of the mountain. SO they all did it.
Which is why secondaries are bad. And EVERYONE should be able to obtain the same roll as everyone else. And use the special effects to be unique. And its a huge reason why people loved pvp before RNGers.
Exactly the same lame excuses could be used for combat logging.
No argument there. Its a problem on both ends and they are tackling it soon.
Go and play the game for a while.
Hopefully so, the karma stuff might solve a lot of issues.
Of course you do. Which makes you a .... person that calls what we have in Elite Dangerous PVP. Please go jump into CQC and learn if you really are that good. The only reason why its not popular is because you cant mod those ships with big iWin mods. If you could, you can bet your type of people would be in there.
What did you win? Money? Shoes? Box of Kittens? Candy? a shiny new hat?
Thats the point. There is nothing to win. Since there is nothing to win people know that when you blow them up it was for no reason. If you cant understand that simple concept, then that is a deep seeded personal problem of your own making. Good luck living your life with your head in the sand.
That will never be.
Said it before but I dunno why FDev don't do that.
Surely it couldn't be that hard to make it so that players can port their flying death-machines across to CQC?
There'd be no re-buy cos CQC could be some kind of "holographic simulation" but perhaps they could even set it up so there's categories for small, medium and large ships and offer, say, a million credits to whoever is winning after an hour's play?
Nobody's going to make a fortune earning a million credits an hour in CQC, compared to what you can earn in-game, but it'd be a bit of an incentive.
And, if CQC still didn't get any takers, at least FDev would know, for sure, it's because PvPers aren't interested in a fair fight and they could use that information when deciding how to handle PvP in the proper game.
I have thought the same thing. There really isnt a reason not to make CQC copies of ships from open and allow straight up PVP combat as a legit method of progression. As soon as I saw that CQC was outside of the game proper I knew it was going to fail. All they need to do is keep the scoring systems in place and allow pilots to fly to arena locations throughout the bubble and participate. Heck they could add a spectator mode for people to watch while playing. It could be an in game sport of sorts.
Who knows. Maybe in the future it will be something they look into. It sure would bring balance issues into the light much faster and more accurately than hearing it on the forums with no proof. It can help balance combat interactions between real pilots.
