I do have a better photo than that, however nothing is readable other than Inara, no matter what i try...either I don't have high enough graphics (I think I'm at 1080), or it is intentionally done, the back side of that container reads (in lg font blue) M03-1377, but searching the forum on that indicates that it is a boilerplate design, as that number is located on containers in numerous locations. At the Chemical factory are 2 standard shipping containers (like we have today) that have "Vega Line Shipping" on the side, they are sort of army green color.
I will try to attach the pic for you though, I'll have to set up an imgur account to do it, then I'll edit this post for it.
EDIT: It turns out my pics are about the same, I could have sworn I had one that I thought was almost readable if I put it into an image processor, I took some more of the cargo containers. Here is a link to the imgur album if you want to compare, there are several in there.

Ahhhh thanks ya im at 1080 too and the cargo racks kept stopping me from getting closer. Ya i guess i missed the vega containers
Some tin foil thoughts as I leave..
1. Although I don't think there will be 12 bases to find, just that 12 separate projects were being researched, but the mycoid logo, has 12 "points" drawn on it.
2. The crash site of the Thargoid scout ship had a series of lines scratched in each segment of the hull underneath, I forget how many, but do they perhaps line up to the "grappler at the testing site?
3. Why (at Hip 59382) are there tire tracks that lead around part of the buried containers? They don't go in a full perimeter circle around them, and there seems to be no turn around tracks. Was something else over there?
4. Still want to look into the Vega shipping thing, it is the only corporate logo at the chemical factory that isn't INRA, and they painted that design on everything.
5. 1 large storage drum has slightly different corrosion marks from every other one....since FDev put the same droopy sign at each base (or all the right sided bolts in the assembly kits were bad spec) why does only one tank have a differing corrosion pattern?

So it appears that Alnath and hip 59382 are duplicates, with the exception of the add-on thargoid dungeon.... if anyone is at hip 59382, can you go look at the building I have marked K on the map, and see if these yellow and blue characters are at that base as well, if your looking at my map it will be the South west corner of the K building If NW is the legend I put on this one.

Senator Denton Patreus, who has spent little time in the public eye since his defeat of the insurgent organisation Emperor’s Dawn, made the following statement on the ‘Galaxy Now’ programme:
“I have reviewed much of the available intelligence on the Thargoids, and it is clear that we are facing a formidable threat. Granted, we do not know the reasons for their hostility, but in my experience such details are rarely important – what’s important is knowing where and when to strike.”
“The formation of Aegis is in my view a sound strategy, and represents a sensible response to this threat. Furthermore, I know Aden Tanner well, and I wholeheartedly believe he is the right man to be guiding Aegis’s military strategy.”
Li Yong-Rui, CEO of the Sirius Corporation, also offered an appraisal of the situation:
“If there’s one thing these INRA logs make plain it’s that humanity is capable of defeating the Thargoids, especially when we work together. And remember, most of the galaxy is functioning exactly as it always has, despite the presence of these alien aggressors. So let’s maintain some perspective, shall we?”
So... space Trump is like regular Trump, a war mongering idiot. Lui is the head of the industrial military complex and of course he salivates because of all the profit he could make. And then there's space Bernadette who stated something obvious that nobody wants to focus on: we experimented on live specimen.
I bet that meeting went like this:
SpaceTrump(ST): They shot first! We need to nuke them from orbit! Lui what kind of weapons do we have?!
SpaceBernadette(SB): We experimented on live specimen, we shot first!
ST: Who's this women?!
Li: She's your princess (rolls eyes)
ST: Whats a princess? Im the Supreme Leader! I dont have a princess!
SB: We have to try to talk to them!!
Li: Senator ...currently we do not have access to the myciod virus. We sent out search teams to get a hold of this weapon.
ST: What virus? Are you sick?! Get away from me!!
SB: We cannot just kill them, they are living creatures!!
Li: Sir, we once had a weapon, a virus, we lost it, now we are searching for it. When we get a hold of it we are going to attack the Thargoids whereever and whenever possible.
ST: Good!! How many ships do you have?
Li: Sir? ... We dont have military ships, you, the Empire, have.
ST: So you expect us to attack these... Thargis? Thats a bad deal. Bad bad bad deal!
(Advisor comes to the table, whispers something in STs ear)
ST: Ok .. I get it... -- Loui. You give us the weapon, we attack them. Can we agree on that?!
SB: NO WE CANNOT ATTACK THEM FOR GODS SAKE!! WE NEED TO ESTABLISHE PEACEFULL RELAT...
(Li rolls eys)
(Publicist takes action and drags her out of the chair)
SB: GET OFF OF ME YOU ...
(Shes removed from the room)
Li: So.. Again. Sir, we are going to give you the virus and then you are going to kill those damn aliens.
ST: Good! I like that deal!
(Advisor gives ST the contract)
ST: Whats this?!
Li: The contract about our agreement?!
(Advisor whispers something in STs ear again)
ST: Good.. ok... (Takes pen, signs the contract)
(Standard goodbyes, everyone leaves the room)
Li (in the elevator, on the phone): He signed it. (Laughter from the other end)
Tomorrow: Sirius stock gains 3%.

Anyway... my opinion grew stronger. We decide how this will unfold. We need to find that JJ Cobra.

i was wondering about the vega shipping thing, could it be a not so clever cover up by certain shadowy groups. because while the vega shipping logo is painted bright white like it is brand new, there is a older more faded INRA research logo underneath. makes me wonder if some one knew about the bases and decided to try and cover up some of the evidence, also there is no mention of any shipping companys from Vega or with Vega in the name any where at the moment. but will head to Vega and surrounding systems tonight and have look about.
Great, except Aisling's outrage at the atrocities is as fake as her hair, and she's known to have been sleeping with Patreus.
And Patreus' warmongering attitude is as fake as Aisling's outrage.
brings to mind a very apt quote "if it's not broke, don't fix it.", looks like you bog standard military thinking on cheap base building. build it cheap and quick, build it to a tried and tested design and if your found out just leave and build another.
Agreed. There are also letters under the blue painted stripes. Need better pictures, in a hope for some clues towards next bases. On cargo declarations there are also instructions how to cover sensitive things under ordinary cargo packets.
Also, some containers have structural damage (something dropped on them), and the others are turned over. Either prisoner escaped, or cargo workers panicked when they founded out what is inside (or were exposed to the poison and created havoc).

when i started this game i thought i would just trade and explore, now i feel like a private detective even if i am following in the foot steps of others. also i started wondering about the brain trees and weather there is a connection to the mycoid fungus, either directly or indirectly through the fungus that grows on them. so maybe INRA unknowingly was using guardian related substances before we knew about them
I'm enjoying following this thread and investigating INRA and Thargoid stuff, but I've been away from the game for a few days. Have I missed anything?

I doubt you'll get them to be honest, the writing is deliberately blurred. I take my screenshots at 6k resolution and you still can't read what they say. I only managed to make out water and coffee beans when I first posted that picture, didn't notice toilet roll, but I'm glad they had some at least

Well it's hard as they're 218Mb each However this is a crop of one and if you zoom right in you'll notice how the metal fixings don't lose any quality, but the writing's already blurred. I can't see anything behind the writing though, maybe it's cause the lighting's different but I don't think so. Click the picture to get a fullscreen version.
