The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt

Pff. Old. Young. Who cares. I know I like the musty scent of fresh paté.

Thanks, but I am intentionally NOT watching ANYTHING related to the DLC's. I want my playthrough to be completely blind :)

I've been pretty good at avoiding any information so far!

They certainly know how to make a game trailer, that's fer sure...

It just MUZAK to static scene! I don't post spoilers to ruin the experience. You can close your eyes and just listen!

And it's STILL outselling much newer games, with just a one player offline game, FREE add ons, and no FTP, chapter, microtransaction, or PTW junk. Wish more game companies would follow their lead.

But at the same time, the company CD Project is not ideal to work for as their work environment is rough with low salaries (edit: low as in low by western standards).

But yet, young and aspiring Polish programmers are queueing up to get in the door [yesnod]

Before CD Projekt Red, Poland didn't have a games industry or a single developer...now they have a world beater in every sense of the word. Don't equate a western wage structure as a means to happiness in the workplace, I'm sure some of the Devs at the likes of EA or Ubisoft would love to trade workplaces...Watch this video, listen to some of the programmers who work there :)

That is actually not true at all :)

1987 - California Dreams
1989 - LK Avalon
1991 - ASF
1991 - Techland
1992 - Metropolis Software
1992 - Mirage Interactive
1994 - Play Publishing
1995 - Reality Pump Studios
1996 - Leryx Longsoft
1999 - Rebelmind
2000 - Tate Interactive
2000 - In Images
2001 - Aidem Media
2002 - CD Projekt RED

As you can see there were MANY more before CDPR even existed :)

I've heard of Reality Pump and techland before. Don't think the others are ringing any bells with my memory. Any notable mentions by the others on the list.

EA have a history with reports of being a poor company to work for with 80 hour weeks and stuff. But Ubisoft hasn't had much of that and people are generally happy with working for Ubisoft.
I've seen that video btw.

Long video but very interesting. Makes me wonder if the infamous 2013 E3 trailer was pre-rendered...

lot of sites reporting that E3 (June this year) will have a public Trailer and journo only demo for Cyberpunk. Perhaps if true then it might be a 2019 release potentially.
