The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt

God dammit CD Projekt, almost made me tear up a bit watching this

So many good times, I miss ya Geralt. Definitly gonna have to do a ultimate Witcher runthrough of reading all books again and then playing all the games again. Just need to find some 500 hours or so of free time somwhere :D

Speed run? :p

Normally I don't go back and replay any RPG games. I often play one character for hundreds of hours, but going back to start again feels like it's invalidating all that character's backstory. Witcher 3 is the exception. Though my bad choices I ended up with the loneliest ending(s), and couldn't hack it. So I had to start again just so I got the endings I wanted. I also hadn't really touched on the Toussaint content, so I was able to play that after finishing the main quest. Now trying to finish all quests and visit all marked locations. I may be a while.

Danny O'Dwyer said in the very beginning that Cyberpunk wasn't something that was going to be discussed at all. CDPR was very keen on keeping it that way.

AHHH fair enough :) I should probably have listened to the very first segment. Not to worry there was lots of good stuff talking about Witcher 3 to make up for it.

I think it was important to the devs that the 10 year anniversary we strictly about The Witcher and nothing else. But I kinda wish they at least showed us a new teaser. :)

Well, they will show it when there's something to show I guess :) But watching the video right now, and my first thought was.. "man, has it really been a decade already?"

I don’t imagine there’s many like me who skipped this game, but just in case there are a few: GOG has it on sale for $20 USD for the GOTY edition with 2 expansions.

I have finally been able to play some W3 again (mainly due to having a break in Elite :p ). Updated all my mods, set the load order and finally made it to level 32, so that I can start Hearts of Stone - for the first time. Then it's Blood and Wine time! I have generally only played the main story and only did the side quests to get the required level for the main quest. I then lost all my saves and had to start a new game... Hence I have never done the DLC's or even the side quests :)

Made this album with some desktop backgrounds if anyone fancies. I'll be adding new ones as I progress my playthrough. Enjoy, hope you like them!

Blood and Wine is a damn fine scenario. I loved that setting.

In for a treat Roots. The DLC is equally as good as the main game. Lots of hours in them too. Those Polish boys know how to make a game that's for sure.

I think it's even better than the main game. Combat felt more challenging and diverse, too.

Play it already! It's got a bossy Duchess that rips her clothes off to better run around!

If you skip the side-quests you'll be missing tons of really awesome stuff.

Unlike regular RPG's, the Witcher's side quests aren't just filler, most are top notch writing and storytelling and many blend perfectly into the main arcs and expand the characters and lore.

Yeah, sometimes I was in doubt if this was the main mission or a side quest. Awesome game, can’t wait to see cyberpunk.

See I think Cyberpunk is going to be CDR answer to the likes of Destiny, The Division, Anthem etc etc. I still think there will be a huge single player aspect but it really wouldn't surprise me at all if they do the coop based thing all the games above as a big part of the game.

But they'll do to that genre what they did with the Open World genre with Witcher 3. It'll be magical :)

Along with the single-player story, Cyberpunk 2077 will include a multiplayer component.[4]

Yep indeed. That was reported many eons ago now I just extrapolated for the sake for a predictive statement :)

Doubtful. Cyberpunk lacks one thing and that is the rich European legends and tales they weaved in to the witcher. They have a somewhat refined combat system now. A somewhat refined UI. That needs to be completely reworked for ranged combat. They need a completely new story. The whole setting needs to be shaped.

If anything - it'll be difficult to shape another success like Witcher 3 right from the start.
