(clicked include everything)
Thank you Raino. do I need to submit a ticket to frontier support?
But "include everything" is, if I recall correctly toggled on by default. So clicking on it would untoggle it, no?
Write a sob story to Support and they will restore your ship.
They do it for everyone else
Wow, that's an unnecessarily cynical way to express yourself. Elite is supposed to be entertainment, and Frontier are not there to punish people who misread a screen once. There's another thread today with a guy thanking FDev for undeleting an account his son mistakenly deleted (over the weekend too). You make this kind of think sound like an undesirable weakness, whereas I see a core strength that keeps me a loyal customer.
Also, next time you run out of fuel, try this:
https://fuelrats.com/
It's a player group dedicated to fuel up any CMDR who ran out, no matter where they are.
Funny that...
Yet when I accidentally bought a Cutter because I hadn't switched to the my ships (middle) tab on the Shipyard screen because I was distracted at the time, I'm supposed to take it on the chin despite losing a significant number of millions upon the subsequent sale of said unwanted Cutter once I realise my mistake...
As I said, Funny that...
And they empathy I got when I raised the matter on the forums for a similar lapse of attention as the OP?
None whatsoever.
I do empathise, but "accidently buying a cutter" is amusingly different to "accidentally deleting everything".
I think you misunderstood me. No double standards here - if you mistakenly buy (or sell) a ship due to an error-prone UI desgin, and provided you contact support directly (not flying around in it for 6 months!), there's no reason why they shouldn't revert the transaction.
It is, never-the-less, amusing, that you accidentally bought the most expensive ship in the game - I wish that kind of accident would happen to me ;-)
