If you speak about Klaxian group, I think the problem is the term. Mayebe reserved or invalid. Lore is reserved, I totally agree with that. I don't want to see in game some PMF like: the friends of the Klaxians, the INRA brotherhood, the guardians of guardians, etc.

Yeah - I also agree with that 100% but that's not what we've done as far as I can tell unless it was by some massive, weird coincidence. Ah well. My guess is we tried to put too much colour into the description and they didn't like it. I guess I'll find out later when they email me.

So I was fairly certain we'd receive a rejection for all our systems being full (a thing that happened because of how awfully long this took) but then I see we are rejected for a different reason.

Who the actual hell are Alien Defense force? I've scanned up and down the list and can't see our actual PMF listed alongside the corresponding alien hunters.

Our entire description was about our Federal Democraticniss and you managed to confuse that with some random PMF? Did you not think something didn't really line up there?

How are Frontier able to add a PMF to a system when, for arguments sake, an application is made and the requested system has 6 factions......Application is accepted, but in the time between acceptance and being physically added, the system now has 7 factions due to expansion? What happens then?

On the flip side i did not see our PMF on the first pass so, for the moment at least, I am very cautiously optimistic.

Unless I am mistaken, they don't allow factions to be added to 6 faction systems, probably for this exact reason.

Hey Brett C. Just wondering how it's possible that all 3 of our potential systems are "in use?" I just did a quick search, and a PMF is indeed present, but in only one system, LP 838-16. The other two systems of choice have the required 6 factions and no PMF. Can we get some clarification as to if the other two systems are Restricted considering they don't seem to be? Or why we actually got rejected? The 7 Faction rule was the issue last time so what is the issue now? Also, if we apply again, are we looking at another 4-6 months wait time or will the rejected factions like us be given a grace period of sorts? Is our application going to be delayed further if a new application system comes into effect?

I thought why the hell did Van name his PMF different to his player group???
Doesn't make sense at all.

But erroneous Excel data manipulation such as VLOOKUP etc. could make sense...

Actually, I do have a minor update to post - might help if i updated the subversion repo!

This is the first pass of rejected minor faction applications.

Disappointed to learn that we have been knocked back a second time.

Before I can reapply though, we clearly need to correct the timeline that is out of sync.

I would like to get the submission back in as soon as possible as so far, it has taken almost 10 months to get here!

According to my knowledge/understanding the criteria is 6 factions or less. So all other criteria met (which?) a system with 6 factions can get a PMF.

However I interpreted Brett's recent messages as FDev might apply the rules softer this time in order to mitigate the disappointments due to the delays originated by FDev themselves.

But I might be wrong.

Just to help the rest of us understanding in order to avoid similar mistakes - what does mean does not conform to the Elite timeline???

The fact that we are given a reason for our rejection that simply doesn't seem to line up with reality is very disconcerting and is leaving us all very confused about what we can do to ensure that our application is accepted the next time around. This isn't our first rodeo, either. The last time we were denied (on grounds that there were too many NPC factions in system) we buttoned down and solved the issue. Now it stings a little bit more because it's starting to seem like somebody purged the application list and chose reasons for the denial at random from a drop down menu, in order to have something to show for their work at a meeting.

FDev, you are alienating 115 ship kit buying, paintjob loving, dedicated CMDRs. Please look into this.

Is there going to be more lists being released or has my application been removed after waiting 4 months has it is not in the list?

Or is not being in the list a good thing?

Suppose at present I could start looking into new systems for when I will put in another application (Just in-case) and hope I don't lose another load of players who are waiting to get stuck into the game for a purpose in the meantime :S

In theory, those PMFs not listed there are NOT REJECTED. But then, that was a primary list. Perhaps the Engineers will give Brett a new list (who knows when?) with more reject PMFs. I hope there are no more rejected fellows, for my PMF' sake and all the rest of the gang hanging around here

Tbh mate, I don't see any issues with any of your systems.
All three have only 6 factions and none has a PMF in it.

Should work for all three, hence I don't understand why your systems should be in use.

All three have only 6 factions and none has a PMF in it.

Should work for all three, hence I don't understand why your systems should be in use.

@Auronio, not really. If a system already has a PMF, even if the system would have only 3 minor factions+1 PMF, it's OUT!

So the rules would be:
- NO PMF in the system
- 6 or less minor factions

(yes, I ignored the "lore/blocked/etc" system rules on purpose)

Of course, someone else might have applied for that system(s) before you (not saying we have -we haven't- but with such a back log of applications, nice systems might get double booked)
