Now that we have part-2 of the unscheduled powerplay 'flash topic' megathread up and running, is there any chance the we could have an update of the scheduled discussions?

ie a new date for the mining discussion and whether you're intending to stick to the 18th June for the exploration discussion to begin?

We have an update regarding the Focused Feedback forum schedule. The topic on Mining will arrive approximately around the 18th of June and, as a result, we will push back the topic on Exploration to a later date (still pending at this time.)

Thanks Will, so what's the deal? More feedback than anticipated? Deeper thinking provoked by feedback than anticipated? More intrusion from impending JWE launch than antipcated? Ed eaten more biscuits than anticpated? Something else?

Thanks for the update Will. I admit I am terribly disappointed, but it's good to get some communication on this from you, as it is super important to a lot of us.

The exploration reveal getting pushed back though, man you just literally ruined my day. :(

It's a case of that there are ongoing internal discussions surrounding the features, and we want to polish and review them a little more before opening them up for community feedback. We can assure you that those threads are still planned!

The fact that the mode debate has been going on for so long with so many threads that it finally got to where it needs its own sub forum...they have way more than enough feedback on that topic already.

Not surprising after mining got postponed, but still disappointing. Oh well, at least we know now, instead of everybody scratching their heads on the 18th.

We should start a thread taking bets on which day the Exploration FF will actually hit. Not just a tentative target date, but actually showing up in the FF sub. I will say August 24.

That a change to PP, something that few CMDRs actually participate in, can generate such drama, speaks volumes about the status of this game.
If I were an outsider looking in, I'd be utterly amazed at FD's ability to generate such drama.
If only they could generate such energetic feelings while playing the game.

Cool idea! I think it will be sooner than that, July 26th.

They'll announce (re-announce?) it for July 10th, but it will end up slipping all the way back to July 26th.
