Utter incompetence

This ^^

You just need to leave the outfitting screen. Relog in't needed.

That being said, it's not exactly well written when you have to do workarounds like this.

Maybe they just didn’t expect players to just sit watching the outfitting screen for X minutes while the transfer happens?

Cost of an asp... 3mil. Cost of having my asp transferred from colonia to bubble? 225m. and about a day. That really makes sense.... (prices approximate)

How much would it cost to get a 1997 Ford Transit shipped from London to Jakarta?

More than the van is worth?

I dont know, you don't seem to recognize what are 'facts and evidence' concerning ED, especially that's it's not an incompetent product. Anyways, I've proved my points. Tshuss.

"Facts and evidence" ... Oh my... You are kinda funny. :D

Tschüss! (that's hoiw it's spelled right, by the way)

Waiting over 15 minutes for the remaining 1 minute module transfer. Only signing out and back in resolved the failure to update the module's location and availability.

Aside from fanboys, sockpuppets, and trolls, we all experience the frustration of Frontier giving us both expensive and slow module/ship transfer. At the very least they might do it right.

I think you are overstating the issue. It's a bug. A frustrating one, one that needs to be fixed, but still just a bug. If it were by design I'd be more inclined to agree. Just raise (or add to) a bug report.

Hyperbole in the opposite direction isn't going to placate the OP, it is just as bad.

That poster was a third party, and was bad. Bad Rubbernuke.

That satirist should (in the first-person) carefully rotate 180 degrees, and hyperbole vigorously in that direction immediately.

Otherwise, instead of placating, they may inadvertently ridicule the OP. Which could be disastrous for us all, what with perilous concentration of wealth, perpetual war, double global pollution, global warming, global debt crisis, global terrorism, global drought and the subsequent global migration & global food crisis, all on the go. It could tip the whole mess over the edge.

We need to speak to a/the supreme being, nay, Braben himself, immediately. The Forum Wills It. (Is that enough escalating yet?)

Only the Kwisatz Haderach can help us dear Bashington. Or maybe Antal- or are they the same person?

Plus only one picture is needed:

Yeah, sometimes I try to be (funny, often unintentionally).
Right, I was too lazy and not in the mood to get hoiw it's spelled right /w umlau?t at the time :)

Having thought about it more, the OP bug complaint is actually cleverly handled by FD effectively sweeping it under rug until someone like the OP stared at it for 15 minutes. Just thinking about it, most players don't usually transfer modules from "stored modules" to the ship, rather they transfer exchange while in the top four module categories. So most have missed it although it was probably reported at some time in the bug reports when the feature was first introduced, but FDev cleverly put it on the backburner as they prioritized other more pressing demands..

So maybe OP deserves a nice easter-egg decal finding this missing feature after so long. i.e. missing as in "working as intended" (or think of it as a 'stopwatch" that works in reverse where you need to 'reset' it by clicking 'back' once from 'storage options', wow, more player agency right there! ) where FD-QA or whoever expected most people to miss this little minor insect of infinitesimal "incompetence". you dont even need to relog, you just need to leave the outfitting / shipyard
ship transfer messages often happen on instance change - so you may get them on relog.

It always makes me chuckle when I transfer a ship to the station I'm in, I leave the shipyard when the transfer time is up then re-enter the shipyard, climb aboard my new ship, leave the station and engage FSD. Then I get a message saying the ship I'm in has arrived at the station. :D

well, judging by Pranav's look, id say he rides a big worm regularly. Which is perfectly fine ofc, all are welcome in Utopia. Unless they dissent in any way. Then they are rounded up, crammed in my cargo hold & taken off to the capital for reeducation, which the brochures assure us is far less sinister than it sounds.
TLDR: Utopia, w000 x

I write a angry post every time I have to restart a game. Lots and lots of angry posts. I'm competent and had it with restarts, relogs, bugs, and computerors.
Helping humanity competently is my bag.
Sock it to them OP. This will not stand.
Comptence prevails!

LOL. Too funny!

I'm of the mind transfer times are daft. We never had a chance to see what things would be like without transfer times.
Without evidence anyone saying they'd be terrible is acting on faith. Faith is the business of religions, not people requiring empirical evidence.
