Can't we just talk about the Downton Abbey movie? :)

I have a crush on Lady Edith. That alone makes me certifiable.... :)

And, what about the new doggie? :)

What's funny is in French, the verb "poutrer" roughly translates to "to shaft" or "to bone" (yes, with THESE overtones)

So "poutrage" could be understood as "shafting".

(That's slang tho, the word "poutre" means a beam, like the construction material)

Make of that what you will :-D

well we CERTAINLY don't want THAT!

Hi Alec,

What was your personal opinion on the ADS (how it works, what it does, and if you thought it should remain as is in 3.3) before you went to Frontier today, and has that changed?

Riôt
Tada! First properly good question.

I thought the proposed changes represented Frontier's valid response to a constant criticism from the exploration community about lacking gameplay in exploration (see also my comments on last weeks Guard Frequency). I also said "be careful what you wish for because you just migh t get it". I had my reservations tho. I've read lots of suggestions for solutions to the "keep the old behaviour but also keep the new behaviour" issue. Frontier have come up with something which I think is a very simple and elegant "solution" (I quote that last word because it won't satisfy everyone but I do think it's very simple and very neat).

All other questions aside Alec. Did you get coffee and a bacon roll?
Unlimited coffee (which is why I'm not going to bed despite somehow having to get to a meeting in London first thing tomorrow ... it'll be fine, I'll work it out in the morning), zero bacon roll's although I did charge a Mars bar to Ed's account (don't tell him tho).

I know, right?

When you say that they came up with a solution, do you mean in response to the recent threads, or what they had already done provides said solution?

Did you see any new ships?

Regardless of how you feel about Exploration in general as an activity, what is your feeling regarding the new Exploration process, start to finding X?

So, Alec and Ant went this time....

Who's got a name that starts with "B"?

I believe the feedback highlighted the issue, the solution (which I believe has been added since said feedback) was not one I'd read on the forums.

No comment (I've always wanted to say that!)

I feel completely and utterly pink meerkat about it!

Alec,

Any indication of whether they'll be doing limpet controller racks?
Yes (as in, yes there was an indication of this)

So that's the way it's going to be...

@Alec - my question is: are you guys under NDA in regards to sharing details about what you saw?
Boring answer but ... yes. I can however express what I've seen through interpretive dance movements, alas I don't have the bandwidth to convey the extremely vigorous movements I'm making right now.

P.S. you remember late night Beat Saber at Lavecon? Well double that!

how about a song then? or a poem?

would Yamiks be better at expressing these vigorous movements?
