To be fair they have actually improved the netcode.
However I think it's safe to say that they're pretty far away from 50v50 though.

Well i supose it will not be an easy task to do, being all the gfx/ships handling so detailed + multicrew etc...

How does ED handles multiplayer action ? From the dogfighting youtube vids ive seen doesnt seem to be any lag at all, only disconnects ive noticed are made on purpose to avoid death, but i dont see that much players dogfightin at the same time, how many players can play at once in the same "instance" atm?

I get you Voivod,I guess you want me to rant a bit more on CR account:)...
I mean seriously yes they fix their own mess from previous patches considering the net stability but that doesn't have nothing to do with improvement from existing Current Crytek netcode which can handle(most poorly) up to 24players.
CR claim 100 players in the same instance at the beginning but now he starts to choke about it last time as I remember he mention number 50, very soon he will lower the bar on 24 or 32 ppl..I will be more than happy to see 24 or 32 ppl in same instance with no net issues but so far I do not see ANY progress considering the famous CIG Netcode work..period...

So how many players are dogfighting at the same time atm? And whats the max their trying to push for release?

I can't tell, because I have a specific problem (appearing to be offline although I'm not) that I had to create a ticket for, but I've seen others around stations, not sure about the numbers.

No keybinding customization till later. Not coming in 0.9. Citizens rage.

WRONG

You will be able to choose from some presets at 0.9 (release 13) but the full customization will drop with Release 13.1 .

If you listen to what CR said in gamescom was that the patch 0.9 would bring "some level of keybinding / first iteration of keybinding" and never the full keybiding with complete button customisation. Only 1.0 would bring that.

But CR said we would get the DFM last december "No matter what" before it was delayed by half a year...

It´s kinda hard to take any of his statements serious so why should it be different with the keybindings.

Since when are PRESETS keybinding? Presets are what we have now, so yay more crap presets. Of coarse they had to add presets as the flight controls have changed, the current presets don't make any since for the new system.

Nope, Roberts says "first pass of the control customisation inside the game which I know a lot of people want. So we're going to have some default profiles set up for various common stuff and then you'll be able to customise them the way you want without having to do the current crazy xml keybinding stuff you have to do."

That latest pedro track is disapointing. I really liked the old launcher and especially the music in the Hornet commercial. That last one sounds cheap.

Thats's classic CR for ya!

Anyway, first world problems. :D

Pedro's song are really good and have cinematic feel to them, but fail on the epic side.

Here's something epic stuff (this is the ending to a concept album)

Or some stuff he made in 2011 like the "Awakening City": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RfRiGrye8dQ

Or on another note is Requiem of "Inês de Castro" : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2UYux-nfh4Y

Is very versatile and has as much passion for music as for gaming. (he has five PCs and 176 GB of RAM wich he built himself, cause of the cabbling, noise reduction has to be perfect etc)

He did has a degree in classical music from the National Conservatory that normaly takes 8 years, but it took him only 4 years (A+ grades every single year).

You might know is work already since he made the soundtrack of may iconic old games as Monkey Island and Civilization 5 or the main them for the upcoming Witcher 3.

the most pitty thing: i would have praised AC now when all they did was letting the ships fly like in that demo/prototype 2 years ago ...

I'm pretty sure Michael Land did the Monkey Island series.
