Carcharodontosaurus design:

It would be easy imo to have these different species recognizable without adding inaccurate features. Since Jurassic Park dinosaurs have to be shrink wrapped and pronated,
The player can tell the differences between the two by it's skull and skins at least. The two species probably won't be the same size anyway.

Blubbit, before you posted the comment, I left the forum topic so i couldn't really reply sooner.
I did research on the differences of the Giganotosaurus and Carcharodontosaurus just to make sure that there were differences.
However, I did that before you actually posted it.

Ah, that was my misunderstanding then! I apologize for any accusations suggesting otherwise.

with all due respect and love for your work, this is not a carcharodontosaurus.

This is perfectly fair, especially considering the dinosaur isn't Carcharodontosaurus, rather it is a mutated interpretation of the animal. Although I want to be transparent and say I was less vouching for the accuracy of the depiction and more arguing that Frontier's depiction is recognizable as Carcharodontosaurus, or at the very least, a Carcharodontosarid. I was also focused less on the dimensions and more on the general shape and visual features the animal(s) exhibit. I would say Carcharodontosaurus is certainly more comparable to its real life counterpart than the real life Baryonyx is with the bipedal crocodile Universal attempted to pass off as Baryonyx.

blubbit, certainly Carcharodontosaurus is better than the Baryonyx model.

Anything is better than Universal's Baryonyx.

For the Baryonyx, I wish they made it resemble it's real life counterpart. The only thing I like about the bipedial Alligator
(Alligators look better than the JWFK Baryonyx) are the scutes on it's back.
Depiction of Baryonyx:

The JWE Carcharodontosaurus's model is better than the bipedal Alligator. But I hope Frontier still changes the model of the Carcharodontosaurus.

I have to agree with those that are disappointed with the finished look. It was nice to see that Carcharodontosaurus got made available for the game, but its snout is a bit too chisel-like and the head looks too slanted. It appears that the model was trying to distinguish itself too much from Giga. Also, I don't know if it's just me, but the Giga model and skin detail appear to be of a noticeable higher quality than what JWE Carcha ended up with when the two are standing side-by-side.

So, between the Carcha and Dread not looking so good in this latest pack, I'm going to have to pass on buying the pack. Iguanodon looks great though, and is one of the best dinos in the game.

I dont even know where i stand on this. On the one side, i dont terribly mind the current design, but on the otherit did strike me as somehow off when i first made it, and seeing the skull imposed on it's picture makes me think it would still look different (and likely be smaller than the) Giga even if it wasnt changed to be as it is. I dont know, i would prefer the bulkier upper head, but at the same time that's prolly not gonna happen.

I agree with this.
