I found a nice system with just one dock, where "improve your financial status" missions are plenty (a lot of those mission grant grade 5 materials as alternative reward) - so I am ramping up my wallet now to get it back to 6 digits. Overall I am pretty happy with my donation intervention, it pays off quite well in a lot of systems, where I come through pretty often. I guess, I will continue to spend about half of my income in donations, it helps the economy in those systems, is a good reputation source and provides me with some really nice extra missions, which bring about 3/4 of the spent money back. Of course I have to run those missions, so this is not really a refund of the donations, but it's better than to do underpaid missions with less reputation gain. I am near to get to my goal for the rest of the year already - just about 23% to go to reach duchess rank and access to the imperial cutter. So I guess I will acquire that rank before the weekend even.

Btw: the most likely small ship I will take to Colonia is my dolphin. I am most comfortable with this ship and it is well enough performing, even it is just upgraded to G3. I will upgrade it further before I will move to Colonia. I wonder if there is another route than the direct one - maybe along the outer arm and then pass over where there are less gaps. Is that too stupid to do it that way, or what do you think?

50 jumps to go!

(Checks odometer...realises there isn't one...)

Install EDDiscovery - that has a really good stats facility as well as being able to define a "trip" / expedition. So you can see distance (and other stats) since last dock, 24 hrs, month, etc etc

Heck, I'm so new, I'm just sitting over here in the corner trying to figure out how I can take my Cobra MkIII with 4C shields, boosters, top of the line lasers and canons and survive more than three seconds against the weakest ships and pilots out there on Solo game play.

1. Pick your fights

2. Fit a ship for a fight.

3. Don't expect multi-role ship to excel at combat.

4. Engineers

Well, for now I won't be able to buy it and have no intention to, because I have currently no purpose for it. But I like to have access to it, if I would want to buy it. For now my wallet is pretty empty - below 6 digits, so it is anyway out of reach for now. But I can achieve about 20 million per hour currently, so it is as well not too far out of reach. I guess I will not attempt to go to colonia before february next year. I want to first get all engineers in the bubble accessible and upgrade my exploration dolphin even more.

And I have planned to acquire some combat experience in january - I guess this will take a few weeks until I will feel somewhat comfortable with it. I found that my current setting for my mouse are pretty bad in FA off - but very good with flight assist on. Unfortunately there are no separate settings for FA on and FA off - so I wonder how I will solve this. I do not really want to change my current mouse settings. I would really like to have FA off abilities, because I like to be able to redirect my flight vector by 90 degree pretty suddenly without to loose speed.

What's gold top - unskimmed milk with a layer of cream on top?

Full fat milk from the Jersey and possibly Guernsey breeds of cow it has a more yellow colour than standard milk and before homogenisation when we got cream on the top the cream was much thicker.
