Then please find an image of the animatronic with stripes. :)
It's still a toy model, no matter how you put it...

Brah google the Rex hunting the galis. You can easily see the stripes. You cant see anything during the breakout scene because it was raining so the Rex looked black.

obviously, for strips, we don't mean those of the tigers .. we mean a "drawing" that starts from the back and that at non-regarary intervals, extends a little on the neck and in other areas .

There you go! As he said they dont go all the way down to his belly. But from his neck down to his tail he has stripes all along the back. They just dont reach very far down. But you can see they're there.

So it only has them in that scene?? Can you find a picture of the animatronic though?

Because this doesn't look like stripes to me... https://goo.gl/images/2Wi1u5

I know it has a darker shade, but to call them stripes might be what threw me off. Haha. And you both call them light stripes? The carvings are dark. Not light. I'm totally confused here.

You can see them on at least the tail at the end of the movie in the visitor center. I dont know about the animatronics one, but you also have to consider that animatronic was only used for certain parts of the movie and not all the scenes that the Rex was in. You have to go by all the finished movie scenes to base your description of what the Rex looked like. Not just 1 scene, 1 model, 1 toy, or 1 animatronic.... My collective image of the Rex is always with the stripes coming off the back region. You can see them in the movie, it was on toys and in video games too i think... Im about to check the Sega game images now lol

The good old Sega. Damn, good times man...

I just always base the looks off the animatronics, because those are actually there. The lighting, contrast and such are always manipulated when using CGI. So IMO the animatronic is the real deal. I see the carvings on the CGI model though.

Yes , I am agree, that's why I' have posted the image of the official JP Iron Studio model, because it's like the animatronic, with the "finished" details of the movie's computer graphic.😁

I also think that the vision of the T.rex of Jp and of Tlw, must be "global" of both, both of animatronic and of Cgi, and in fact so, I believe that they have always done . In high-quality models, in toys, in vuideogames, etc.

Haha yeah the sega was where it was at lol. I had the rampage edition... It wasnt until the after school summer program that i discovered there was a regular non rampage edition of the game too! Good summer!

But yeah i get where you're coming from too. I did come across the super nintendo version of a green rex with that same wetland stripe pattern on it's back. I would really like to see that pattern in the baige brown jp coloring. But i think the speckled pattern of the animatronic would be a great skin to get too.

I think most of the carnivore skins are rather dull to be honest. I would welcome anything new. Especially canon skins.

Man the Sega days were crazy. I think I had the Rampage version as well. And Sega were also big on Rally games too. I remember those two games like it was yesterday. :D

Yeah a game where dinosaurs could be used would be great. One of my all time favorite games period was Dino Crisis. I'd love to get a survival horror JP title like Dino Crisis. In an enviornment like the JP telltale Game from a few years ago but as Dino Crisis type game would be epic. Someone tries to make a new park or some other facility in secret. Things go wrong, contact is lost so they send in a special forces team to investigate. Turns out to be a Biosyn (spelt wrong?) Site.... Dr Wu sent in some agent to sabotage the place which is why it goes to piecies. That would be so cool!!! They could even add online multiplayer mode and let people play as dinosaurs trying to find you and kill you.

Dino Crisis was GREAT. Remember the ending with the Rex in the water? Crazy. :D
