It's not, but it is implied by the three equidistant radiating curves surrounding the central circle and dot motif although at this stage we've only seen obelisks that radiate light, and are accessible from the centre of one facet, instead of all three which is making me wonder if there's a more active, less derelict site to discover.
I'm not talking about the spheres that give you blueprints, I'm more talking about the actual artifacts that you pick up. Urn, Orb, Tablet, ect.

I'm going to add this El Dorado, and Atlantis, were of the influence of some sort of "alien" interaction/influence. I honestly don't know how this fits in Kingdom of Prester John though lol.
The obvious problem with Raxxla being related in any way to the Guardians is of course, that one has been kicking around for three decades in real life, while the other is brand new to the franchise with the Dangerous launch. Raxxla was apparently included at day zero but the Guardians showed up much later.

And, since nobody had found Raxxla by the time the Guardians first started showing up, I sincerely hope they did take full advantage of the opportunity to weave an even deeper narrative, assuming they didn't have that planned the whole time of course, lol

A lot of what we see now, has been planed since the mid 90’s. Braben probably had plans for expantion packs for FFE back then, so quite a bit of story was left unused.
Changes have been made and new stuff added to fit a multiplayer world, but the main idea for the universe is quite old.
I wouldn't think it big enough to be an Omphalos ... maybe a Jewel though.
Not sure if they were a direct pathway to Raxxla.. If so Macros would have been there with all the missions he did
But as I understand it the SAP 8 Cores were data crystals that possibly were a map or atleast had coordinates which pointed somewhere...
The martian relic is not described except for size, but I can imagine a Jewel or a Data Crystal being the same.
What if the martian relic was a data crystal and pointed to a location... and people went there?
Eotienses and Alioth were settled soon after the relic was found.

Because of their uniqueness and SAP cores it's a reasonable assumption.That's why I intend to do missions that TDW and their allies give.

They knew too much, and had to be removed. The Dark Wheel aims for world domination by manipulating the global trade of thrumpberry flavouring. It's really sinister plot and has been going on for centuries. Think about it next time you are buying some cookies and small cakes from a local space grocery store.
