I found the bit about nobody ever having even contemplated building a ‘Verse of this scale particularly amusing, but when they went on to say they can’t even QA a single (incomplete) system I giggled helplessly :)

Okay, so here's what I have to say:

I don't understand why all these Star Citizen haters keep bashing on it as if its very existence is a personal attack against them or something. Hell, these guys are worse than vegans I swear, it's like they have an aneurysm if they don't keep repeating themselves about SC being a scam every 2 seconds to everybody who can hear. And this crap about calling people like me, who put in some money into SC, part of some unheard of "cult" is just downright hyperbolic and hypocritical. I sure find it real funny when they're sitting there, foaming at the mouth as they type in all caps or whatever, copy pasta'in as much crap they can find that supposedly "Proves" that somehow it is indeed a scam, meanwhile it's stuff that's like 6-7 years old or a part of that whole lawsuit of CG vs. Crytek(to which was CG was justified to do as they did I might add.) and it's all old news.


Does anybody even care whether or not it comes out?

We get it, you think it's a scam. Shut up and move on, or else you're just making yourself look like you're in the cult and not the fans(like me)

Any thing else yall want to add?

Thankfully, he no longer owes me two games, because I got my refund befire he changed the TOS again. Part of it went to NMS, and I’m still waiting for another space game to peak my interest that isn’t behind an exclusive access deal.

Sadly, it’s becoming ever more clear that Star Citizen won’t ever be worth buying, even with a huge Steam Sale discount. Which is a pity, because I really wanted to play it back in 2914, when it was supposed to be released.

it's a scam and it's supporters like you deserves the worst, period. Anything else is an insult to sentient beings and gamers.

I think people who paid for something 7 years ago and still haven't got it are entitled to a bit of grumbling

There's a difference between some grumbling and downright going out of your way to insult everybody who doesn't say "SC is a scam" like some kind of fad or something.

I meant to say after reading your first post...welcome to the madhouse Havvk...and there are one or two of us who actually do play SC before a good ranting session. I'm one of the resident "insults to sentient beings and gamers". :cool:

...I'll have to remember to add that one to my CV...

When Chris Roberts in autumn 2016 told Gamescom (or CIG's own CON cant remember which) that 3.0 would be out in December 2016, and then a few months later sat on sofas with some of the devs discussing how they might DESIGN some of the features, revealing they hadn't even decided how some of 3.0 would even work ... didn't you think hey, you're a liar, maybe this is a scam?

I dunno. I did.

He would have took off with the money and shut everything else down as he did so.

If it was a scam, that is. The real scam was NMS's release, focus on that instead, if you MUST mention scam

You are aware he’s drawing a undisclosed amount in wages?
Why would he walk away from a cash cow?
NMS was a master class in game design compared to SC.
If we could focus on NMS we would but it would be off topic.
