Prophecy;
-Amount of bugs will remain the same at best.
-After again delayed FC they will reveal 2020 update content
-Now they say 2020 is on schedule to calm FC delay so after FC are released month later they will delay 2020 update into Q2/Q3 2021
-2021 new era update will reintroduce all the bugs they were fixing in 2020 plus new ones.

There is really no excuse for a feature that should have been inserted last year. But seriously: after 5 years and getting worse updates I can not expect that anything turns out to be good.

I'm happy they are focusing on bugs, but if they don't give us anything new to do in game I don't see myself booting it back up for awhile.

As someone else has posted today, if they could divert a couple of people to come up with in game challenges and events each week it would give players something to do. Just hauling cargo or killing npcs for CGs gets boring after awhile.

No excuse eh?

How about the 'majority' of players who asked that more testing and bug fixes become the priority? The same player base who would only throw FDev under the bus if they released anything that was less than absolute perfection in whatever version they deem by their own prerogative.

Honestly all the whining and complaining without actual merit or suggestion by the 'majority' only hinders development of such features as devs work to pander to the squabbling masses.

Really if you want to actually make the dev listen... post constructive ideas without the whine... and then simply don't play... don't buy cosmetics etc.... they will either buck up and lift their game to make it more for you or they will eventually kill it off... the wallet hurts the most... hit them there directly and not slowly strangle them with dross and drivel.

If the game isn't fun for you, don't play! It's not a subscription game so you can come back and 'test' it when updates happen without issues.

but why would one need to take their fleet to beagle point for example... other than RP purposes because you know... we have a srv bay and SLF even, de we really really need this russian doll ship?

i dont think we're actually missing any content delaying FCs

you guys who are ok waiting another year till winter 2020,wth is wrong with you?
how can you be ok with waiting another year without new content,after its been several years of the same by now?
Im almost 39 and Im not getting younger,I dont want to die before frontier pulls their head out of their behind and fix the game

There is nothing wrong with people who play the game and find it fun...

This update does appear to have short circuited an awful lot of code.

You can go on a long exploration mission and take a mining rig with you, plus a small ship to land on planets, plus your favorite speed racer to take a break and go for a canyon run, plus taking advantage of the repair and rearm facilities, etc.

You can have a portable mobile base with your entire fleet and stored modules and relocate from the bubble to the pleiades or whatever taking everything with you at the same time.

Etc... I'm sure people will find lots of uses.

im not against it ;) im sure it will have its uses and folk will enjoy it.
