Well after realizing that I made a blunder on my purchases, I now have $85 in store credit at SC. How it happened: Well, last expo I bought the Aero LTI pack and upgraded to the 600i (which I still own and love to fly). I had my original package too, upgraded to the Titan, which is $85. What I didn't realize is that the Aero LTI package came with the game until today!!!!

I also have a $15 graycat and a $40 Hangar I can part ways with, so I'm thinking about getting the Prospector for $155, which would be an additional $15.

Or

I can add an Andromeda for $225 and double my 600i's cargo capacity (I worry about this, just incase they turn the elevator into a cargo hold and increase the ships cargo capacity.

I'm leaning towards the Prospector.... Any help would be appreciated.

oh and no I will not refund :)
Buy an Idris 😉

Are the space bikes in game yet because I think they come in different colours and everything 😉
No idea, sold all my bikes and buggies except those that came with ships... or CCU'd them to keep the LTI tokens...which is the only reason anyone buys them in the first place ;)

Had a look to see what was in my hangar with a nice util from fleetyards.net...a trade calculator I use (a bit like EDDB)...nice 3d view and size comparison. 4 of them are still jpegs of course...but I added the loaners...I haven't added the 890 jump or the Terrapin that are purely subscriber perks for the month...

I decided to sell the explorer package I bought from a mate who sold me it at mates rates a year ago. It went on the grey market and included the Terrapin, Freelancer DUR, Carrack and sundries instead of me parting with the standalone Carrack...since I got offered more cash for the explorer package in the end. A $320 profit over what I paid for it was too attractive to pass on. Some of this hangar list will probably change as I get fed up waiting for the jpegs to turn into flyable or go on another melting spree.

Left to right:
Hull D
BMM
Reclaimer (Loaner for Hull D)
Carrack
Pirate Caterpillar
Starfarer Gemini (Loaner for M2 Hercules)
Starfarer (loaner for BMM)
M2 Hercules
Aquila (loaner for Carrack)
Valkyrie
Banu Defender (Loaner for BMM)
Vanduul Scythe (no idea where it came from)
Cutlass Black
Superhornet (Free with Valkyrie)
Prospector
Hornet 7C (no idea where that came from either)
A couple of Pisces Snubs (no image but comes with Carrack)
Fortuna Ursa Rover (Gifted from a mate for free)

So, how much are you in for overall?

How much have you paid for this potential maybe AAA game?

Higher rating than Frontier Developments on Glassdoor.

Open joke right? :ROFLMAO:
Dear sir, you do understand that $250B gathered and no game delivered directly translates to "Much salary, zero work to do, very like Employer!!", yes?

I have a rough idea overall, (it's not as much as you'd think) but I mainly horse trade stuff either on the grey market or melt and CCU stuff on the RSI site for sale on the grey market later. The most I've given Ci¬G directly in the last 6 months is $5...personally, from what I paid for here and there, I generally sell for a small profit back to the grey market...hence why my hangar list changes so often. It's a bit like a side hobby for me, the horse trading bit. Speculate on what ships may be soon to rise in price or go to flyable from concept..then sell the Jpegs or attractive CCU's for a profit at some point .There's a couple of ships I won't sell, namely the Caterpillar and Cutlass...I like them. The Cutlass was my original pledge way back in 2015 and also the ship package I bought back in with, the Cat is just a ship I love.

I've obviously spent over a grand USD (a very small part of the proceeds from a 1930's Rudge I restored and sold)...since the concierge status is from Ci¬G...and you can't get it just from horse trading ships on the grey market. Saying that, if I decided to flog all my stuff on the grey market tomorrow...I stand to make a bit more than I spent. Usual risks involved of course since I could well end up out of pocket or lose it all should Chris Roberts burger off to some non extradition island with my cash :)

I also have $500 in store credit on the RSI site...from the explorer package I sold that I credited back to my account... as well as a 20% off voucher on any future purchase awarded for a years Imperator subscription (paid for with store credit) plus a few bucks that I had lying around from melts here and there. That'll either buy a new ship to add without spending any more ready cash out of my pocket...the Mole miner comes to mind although I suspect Ci¬G will make that a warbond only sale for new cash only, hence why they're holding it back until after the expo... or I'll use the credit to CCU something else that might be infinitely more saleable on the grey market, you also don't pay VAT on stuff bought with store credit... the horse trading can be more fun than playing Star Citizen a good part of the time.

There's lots of us do it...look on it as a kind of a Star Citizen mini game if you will ;)

I spent most of the money when there was no VAT involved and the USD exchange rate was more favourable.
I think i clock in at about 3000 USD current value but at about half the cost.

While many recommend putting cash to the "big ones" I still want something to aim for so I got myself a plethora of ships i want to fly for different roles.

Now it's just a matter of actually getting a game to use them in.

People in here seem to forget that people who make their money, and have the ability to buy ships for $1,000, are also smart enough not to throw away their money...

Sorry, that's a load of crock. You are basically implying that somebody who is well paid is, by default, smarter than the rest. That's narrow-minded . I have known extremely well-remunerated people gullible enough to fall for almost everything; I know people who make considerably less than I do who are sharp, and will see through mumbo-jumbo in a heartbeat.

I know plenty of people who love their work, and accept lesser pay because of it. To insult their intelligence by stating that well-paid people are immune . . . right. Take a close look at a great many people with more money than wits (politicians, actors...), and try to say your statement again without wetting your pants from laughing.

The star rating on the infamously game-able Glassdoor site is hardly a great metric. (Underlined in this case by the comical frequency of the 'keep doing what you're doing' phrasing in CIG's positive reviews...)

A more concrete metric would be, say, winning an industry gong for best place to work (Large Studio category), judged by employee surveys ;)

Honestly these tepid 'owns' of Frontier, in an attempt to cast CIG in a positive light, just come across as desperate. Why not focus on CIG's actual achievements? :)
