Newcomer / Intro What are you up to?

Back in the Beluga, multi stop tourism missions.
Why not? :D

(No naughty wanted folk though, I don't want that white leather upholstery messed up!).

Also: Locate goods.
No.

Hmm. Looking at that Guardian tech... I think I'm only going to get enough mats for the FSD booster as I don't think I need any other stuff yet.

Once I equip said booster, can I the transfer it to other ships if I want? Or is it restricted to the ship I fit it to? This will have an impact on how many times I do the round at the site I'm at.

Cheers!

Once you have unlocked the Guardian FSD booster by taking your grave goods to a Tech Broker, it just becomes a normally available item in outfitting, so you can buy as many of them as you like, and of all the various sizes.

You can have a whole fleet of booster-equipped ships, if you wish :)

I’ve only done the booster myself; I really cannot be arxed with the other stuff!

Bear in mind you may have to check your scruples at the door .
Beer in mind you have to check your balance.:)

You could try blueprint smuggling, but it's a niche playstyle.ROFL.

Anyone else browser jacked?I have lost all control of smiley access and cannot conventional delete draft.

Also, i need advice on what to do with my new crew. How many can i take on board and which if any ships contain two stations for them to operate?
I'm feeling my way in the multicrew (solo mode),but i've put together a crew who i feel have potential, and am anxious not to lose any more, (crew not the game).

So I saw an opportunity to have an unusual situation on my alt -- namely lots of credits but very little other progress, thus free to enjoy engineering without money problems. With the payouts for exploration and mining being what they are right now, it's easy to make a bunch of cash.

As a result my alt who I created on the 30th of December is already Elite in trade.

And I wasn't trying very hard, either.

Maybe when the 'rebalance' happens on Jan 14th mining will be a bit less profitable. It is kind of ridiculous at the moment, it seems :)

Not sure what you're asking. If it's about NPC crew members, you can hire up to 3 of them, but you can only take one with you on your ship. They all get paid, though, all the time. They take a percentage of everything you make. If you have an active crew member on your ship, they take 1/2 your combat experience, also.

As for which ships can support crew members, it's quite a few (see list on wiki below).

If you're talking human crewmates, then it's whatever ships support multicrew.

Here's the wiki about all that: https://elite-dangerous.fandom.com/wiki/Multicrew

There's a nice list on the wiki that shows which ships support which features.

Working on the alt today.

Took a trip over to see Tod the Blaster. I "donated" some bounty vouchers to him, and he agreed to work on my multicannons. A short time later I had 3 overcharged multis at grade 3, a 50% increase in damage. Seems good. Even a grade 1 overcharge is a 30% increase, and it only costs 1 nickel. You get a lot of bang for your buck at the lower grades.

So, Tod got on the phone to his buddies, and I was invited to see Selene Jean. She loves Painite, and I gots Painite. We got along real well. She upgraded my armor and hull reinforcements quite a bit, grade 3 before I ran out of materials.

So then I named my Anaconda at last, in tribute to Selene and to Duke Nukem. I named it "Hulls of Steel".

Then Selene got on the phone with her buddies and I got invites from others, most importantly for me Didi Vaterman. My poor shield boosters need love, too. They've been grade 1 for far too long (like...2 days at least!).

And Marco Qwent wants to talk. So does The Dweller. And Juri Whatshisface and a few others. I'm suddenly popular.

I do enjoy visiting the various engineer bases. Scenic and interesting, always.

I like stopping at their bases too, especially in a large ship when they say "soandso Heavy" :D

Some of those folk are 22Klys odd away though. One day.

In the meantime, I've found a place selling HN Shock Mounts so that's my next port of call... feel like saying "I was going to Toshi Station to pick up some powr converters..."
