Time to circle the wagons, my brother-in-law is a medic, we got a nice stock of medical equipment because I’m weird and made a small cabin with all the basics. I hate to be right but right now I am very pleased I can support all 8 of us for a very long period, I closed the private road to our place, and we will not leave the homestead, the Ham radio is now online 24/7 and we are in contact with our neighbors all the time. Stay safe out there, stay healthy.
Hmmm, if you happen to be one of Lysan's neighbours, I'd advise
not popping round if you run out of sugar...unless you have a Kevlar bodysuit!
In 2010 25,000 people died of flu/pneumonia in the UK but many thousands more had a categorised cause of death related to their primary underlying health issues even though common viruses overwhelmed their immune systems. In the same year, almost 70,000 people officially died of terminal pulmonary illnesses, however a very large proportion (pick a %) of those
actually succumbed to some kind of viral infection; this is the most common cause of death with COPD or IPF, for example. This is
always the case...flu actually inflicts the final blow with many chronic conditions but only now, thanks to the visible media-driven extant crisis will
ALL associated deaths be attributable to Covid-19!
The bottom line is that if & when otherwise healthy people start dropping dead en masse...then
that really is the apposite time to use up your hoarded stock of Pampers.
Disclaimer: I'm 29 - I might be a touch complacent.
