Currently moving the M.R.S.C. Mercator to its first Waypoint in the Arcadian Stream, only about 9 Jumps left...

That already resulted in a "first" for me - heading into a nearby System for Mining.... and discovering Biologicals. In a Carrier Mining Vessel :D
Carrier Exploration sure works nicely different, I like that alot !

Beautiful pictures, FalconFly! The first one gives me flashbacks to old sci-fi movies :) .

only place that has a good commodity in store, although it in mid range prices. Most of the kutenis system has good supply of trillium
I've wound up over at Trinar.

Tritium is just 4459 cr/T and it has a large pad.

I had to park one system over in HIP 68107, but it's just one jump and I'm close to the star. It's a short hop in the T9.

Big Tony is raring to go ;)

No - there are larger stars you can jump to directly. It's just that the smaller star on this case is also more massive, and the SC exit is always at the most massive star on a system.

Oh okay, that makes sense. I didn't compare masses of the two but I was pretty sure I had jumped to comparable/larger stars in radius than Rigel. I was a little confused because to the best of my knowledge I've never jumped into a system where I entered at a smaller diameter star, at least not as big a difference as these two where I could clearly see it on the system map.

Re-post from my thread before it was brutally murdered.

"So I zig zagged my way towards the Flame Nebula for a little exploration, and also intended to head out towards the Horsehead Nebula but it was permit locked. I did consider exploring the Seagull Nebula but a quick route plan failed. I was in two minds anyway since it felt a little too lonely out there and surface mapping was beginning to feel like a grind.

I got back to the bubble and discovered that it was fun to find a home base around Sol and build up my rep with various factions. It's not something I've really considered but it opens up new missions and allowed me to get allied and ranked with the Feds. I'm now thinking about doing the same with other superpowers but there's one or two minor factions I feel kind've attached to. Maybe I'll stick around for a while.

Anyway, I'm now based at Powell High in the Wolf 359 system. Which happened by accident but is kinda cool because I'm an 80's child who grew up on The Breakfast Club, Grease, and Weird Science. Though I don't think any particular school was mentioned in Weird Science. It's technically an 80's high school film though."

Was the high school named Powell in one of those movies? The Breakfast Club is Shermer High in the fictional Shermer Illinois, I can't remember if that's where Weird Science takes place but probably so as Hughes often set his movies there.

I did not know that, LIB. Apparently there were exterior shots of a school in Weird Science. Niles East High in Illinois. Also used in another John Hughes film, Sixteen Candles (which I haven't seen, unfortunately). The Breakfast club used a different school. Maine North High. Also in Illinois, AND...used in Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

I've never really thought about that so nice tip.

But damn, John Hughes was good.

Well they're all supposed to take place in the same fictional town except maybe Weird Science. It probably does but I can't remember if there's a specific reference. But what is the Powell High connection? Is that a Grease thing?

No, I just like the fact that Powell High gives me nostalgiac feelings for films I grew up watching in the 80's. Plus I'm from the UK and we don't call them high schools. It's very specifically American in terms of popular culture, like the films I watched.
