ugh....
Well, went into my best 2x LTD Hotspot (fully embedded, 100% overlap)., 17497LY from SOL. An ultra pristine location I've made a few runs into. 150-200t LTDs per run, no sweat.
I've been in the general location (both Hotspot centers ~1000-1300km away more or less) and that's roughly where I went again to test LTD mining post-update.
There's one tiny problem now : this (by the Patchnotes) still pristine location has everything... except Low Temperature Diamonds lol
It seems they're.... they're just
gone
Technically, this location is now a "LTD Coldspot".
I can easily find Bromellite and Tritium is widespread everywhere.
LTD Cores found : zero
LTD Surface Deposits found : zero
LTD SubSurface Deposits found : zero
LTD Asteroids found : one (1). It had 5% LTD.
This is literally the best I could locate so far firing half of my Limpet Cargo :
...in a super-pristine Double LTD Hotspot with 100% large overlap.
Conclusion : Yep, there's something wrong with LTD Mining right now. Looks like it's been literally killed.
LTD Mining now feels like pre-V3.0, where you could easily spend 256 Limpets and maybe (maybe) get a few tons out of it by sheer luck.
So this post-patch LTD Mining Run ?
Looks about like this (not joking) :
(luckily I found an Alexandrite Core, otherwise I'd still be sitting there almost empty)
-- edit --
Yay, I finally found a single LTD Core lol.
(at least these still exist, wasn't quite sure anymore)
