ANNOUNCEMENT Tritium Depot Refills

Thank you but what about those of us with a full tank? I mean I would actually like to mine for it, rather than being given some passive disengaging gift. I've been stuck out in the black for over a week now, bleeding credits, waiting on a fix. Please, just fix resources! Give me good reason to actually play the game, instead of chopping us off at the legs (heh legs)!

I have no idea how sufficient credit were possible to gain carriers in first place especially in open. It will look suspicious if after a short period you own one because you bought credit farming for cash online..

Your point is perfectly possible. Before the Great Rocket Tea Drought I'd spend 2-3 hours mining and 20-30 hours exploring/traveling. Now I spend 3-4 hours mining. Not much of a change. My tritium reserves have been growing despite the cost of the jumps (usually circa 165T), and I've been exploring both along my path and in an area around my carrier waypoints. I've even been able to do a few in-system carrier jumps so as not to have to SC through 300kls or more to map some valuable planets.
Just gunna put this out there, I spent 5 years exploring and never mined a rock. Quite why Fdev expects explorers to become miners is beyond me

And you still can. Nothing is stopping you except your apparent expectation that a carrier should behave exactly like a ship, despite it being stated from pretty much day one that that is not the case. Don't want to mine while exploring? Don't use a FC.

First Point: Thank u very much for the free Tritium.

But the tank will be after that free Gift in the same time to small, with 1000 tons of Tritium, and the one way is to make it bigger, or build in an autoloader from Storage into tank, for longer jumps....

it is not nice to be every time on the carrier to load with T9 or other big ship the tritium from storage into that small tank.

And when u make it biger then increase the tons on Storage from that tiny 25k to a higher number, maybe 250k oder 2.5 Million tons.

With more space the sense to be a trader to buy cheap stuff in one system till the carrier is full und jump and sell the stuff there where it is needed and get more credits, will be granted.

Refund upkeep until fixed. I can't do anything with my carrier because fuel is now near impossible to find

It's not.
Try looking in LTD hotspots, you can find plenty of Tri.

To all the people complaining: Fdev didnt have to give you anything. They could have very easily just sat back and waited on the patch, and left you with zero. They have said the tritium issue was a mistake, and that they are working on it. Give them some good will and let them work on it. Maybe even say thank you for listening and trying to alleviate the problem?

To Fdev: Thank you so much! This will help alot, and i cant even imagine how happy everyone in colonia is right now! Good luck with the patch, I hope its coming along smoothly :D
You seem to be acting and speaking as though this were a free to play game mate.

Wait a min, are we getting 1000t or 5000t, or 10000t? some of us are so far, 1000t nope... but if patch comes in, need to drill then no issue, my crew is now happy, thanks for saving my kidney. There are some nasty crew on my FC, some are pirates.

Free things are always free things. However Im pretty sure those who were "stranded in the black" before still are after the refill. I think I got maybe 300 something to get the full tank. But I still only have 266 in reserves. Really doesn't take me nowhere with the FC.

@Just Ice you have been countering a majority of players on this topic since the patch, and I say that you are not really helping the issue. Trit was hard enough to find out in the black, let alone not even moderately abundant in the bubble before the patch. And your finds are anecdotal. How dare you negate other players' experiences! I've gone into LTD spots with more tritium availability than LTDs. I've gone into Tritium spots with little to no Tritium at all. What you're experiencing isn't necessarily what the rest of us will. To add to this, trying to make the argument that the availability of something is good, based on how the information that is given to us, saying that it's supposed to be another isn't helping FDev either. Why can't you just give us the benefit of the doubt? Why are you so adamant about making sure that there is no problem when there in fact is (FDev has even acknowledged such)? Why are you presenting marginal stats, and using that as an argument that mining is still good? Sure we can! Will we? Not until the mechanics of mining make it worthwhile. As it stands it can still be done, but it's not at all a good return on time invested. Not by a long shot.
