2 hours, expended 192 limpets. Single VO hotspot. Found 75 Void Opals (5 asteroids total.. in 2 HOURS), 99 Tritium, 17 LTD

The patch has made a VERY minor difference over patch 3. This is B.S.; 4 patches and they're STILL not getting it right.

Ok. Major FAIL AGAIN!!!
Finally got the patches installed.
Both ships/Commanders are on the same station.
Both showed in the CURRENT GAME MODE "PRIVATE GROUP"
IN "SOCIAL" and the COMM PANEL" one saw the other in PG and the other one saw the other one in SOLO.
SO. No wing ability again.

This ! And I'm thinking about trying to get a refund, too. At least the Arx for my Alt commanders carrier paintjob as it is pointless to try to establish a regular ferry service to/from Colonia at this point and the now totally useless carrier will be decommissioned in the near future.

Please keep us informed.


P.S.: would be fun to see support flooded with refund demands because of that issue… 🤔

Forget the carrier, FC is not a ship anyway.

I just realized, that FC is much much slower than you wrote.
It only travels several km per few minutes, every 20 minutes.

Of course there is a small detail - FC creates a wormhole in the middle of this short movement, this is why for OUTSIDE observers it looks like it has traveled "a bit" larger distance. :)

But there was no travel, no path in this perspective.
Only start and end point.

Now it's too late, they can't really do any comment on the subject of Tritium
  • if they admit it's as they have planned - even more commanders would feel "betrayed" by keeping it secret when FCs were introduced.
  • if they admit that patch failed to achieve planned goals even after 4 weeks of testing - well, we expect SOME level of incompetency, but not to such extreme.

So, we're gonna need much more popcorn.

Simply ask for a refund en-mass - media hype - Keep the popcorn

FDev have two options, bring back some DEvs to finish Fleet Carriers and save some dignaty. Or Refund the ARX and look a little shabby at best

It all points to what is likely to come in Odyssey ....
Scooping in some planetary atmospheres (maybe gas giants ?) ...

Possible planetary mining. 🤷‍♂️

Of course, they can't shout about it yet, because .... well they like to keep things secret. Maybe they are even taking notes of the problems encountered here and are designing new bugs solutions into Odyssey for the FCs.

I wish you would realise the FC is a unfinshed roadmap item, 'given' to all players to increase ARX Revenue

Do what you want, I am having fun in my FC.
On a exploring - mining trip.
It takes so much time to go through all potentially rewarding sectors after every FC jump, land at biological signals, etc, that an additional hour of miing when is a no-issue to me.

You know what ? you should stop complaining and complaning. Just write here in the forum that you will not buy any " ARX " for real money anymore until they patch it back to normal mining.

I wrote that a few times to Frontier and I did buy 4 times " Arx " for 70 euros.
And I would like to buy again some.. But I am not happy as the game is now. I will not buy any " ARX " anymore as long as they dont patch it back to normal LTD mining and selling as it was.

This will change the mind of Frontier and patch it back to normal as it was and how we loved it all..

I dont like to play Elite and buy " ARX " anymore.. This is just a game for hobby and not a full time job ! No one has the time to farm so much credits for the carriers now !
I maybe sell mine soon.

exploring is not about rewards, at least after 2 billions earned on that and all upgrades installed to Conda.
it's about finding some hidden things. While u're on bios ... have you found 2 different bios in same system yet? I think I had once ... Main big star with big planets and smaller star as planet which had own planets ... and on those 2 I saw 2 different bios once.
Interesting to find out how often it happens.
Scan for just scan all - not really fun.

Exploring next to the bubble?? I bet you still see Signal sources hahaha - Well at least you won't have to mine fuel I guess

If it was EA or any Take 2 subpublisher (Rock*, 2K), we would already have Tritium in ARX shop.
THIS would be worth some noise.
And those are VERY successful gaming publishers.

So, everything depends on the background and having some "bigger" picture.
I agree that ED should have played this somehow less "enigmatic", but I am a realist.
I do not expect too much for so few $.
