Prime exemple of creative rationalisation right there.
Is a player experience ruined when he is actually experiencing the game within its rules & mechanics ?
Can a player experience be ruined by a troll managing to stay within any games rules & mechanics? Can be, sure. My game of tennis (lol as if) could also be ruined by a trolling opponent hitting every ball as hard as possible out the court into the next street, just for the lols. They're perfectly entitled to do it, their playing partners might not appreciate it though and might wish to avoid every playing with them again.
<insert Jeff Goldblum could/should meme>
Is a new player's experience in Escape from Tarkov ruined when he gets one-tapped within 30 seconds by a geared level 50 player, without even moving from his spawn point? No. It's a competitive pvp shooter, that's the point of the game.
Is a new player's experience in ED ruined when he gets the same treatment in a paper sidewinder, destroyed without a word by a clown-faced ganker who gains not a thing from the encounter? In some cases yes, it will be ruined.
So perhaps I'd prefer to use the term troll, rather than ganker. It's possible to troll in tarkov, it's possible to troll a physical game of tennis, even troll a chess match probably. It's not the particular action, it's the intent that links them.
