Yes, in Anyanwu. Updated post for clarity. Kids were going nuts when I wrote it.
Trade for influence has changed since 2017. Now it is all about $$$ profit (not raw sales, the actual profit you make).
There is some debate ongoing about if having a non-zero demand matters. Plus people still arguing both sides about mining materials and other high profit stuff as per my earlier post.
Trading several different materials from different stations does not seem to matter any more. This is something we (the bgs groups I work with) have tested a bit, but not fully proven.
Best to cover all bases - trade millions of credits worth of the top selling products for which a demand exists.
Both are a little too low for comfort. Probably not a threat to our expansion, but better safe than sorry!
Generally we don't want a faction too low in a system within our expansion radius that is NOT the target of our expansion. If they are too low, they may "Retreat" from that system and we may end up expanding to / invading a system that is not our target. Worst case scenario is we end up going the opposite direction and lose weeks of work and preparation.Stage 3a question - why does them being low mean bad things for us? To an outsider if theyre low they are weaker surely? Or is the controlling faction is too strong and this stops expansion?
This should help, @Staarlord ...Who is Black Sky Legion? Is that the same as Black Sky Division? That's the only one I could find in EDDB. It sounds like they are a commercial group? I'd have figured that a good name for a Club oriented group LOL

Orders 26 - 27 Aug 3306
Our expansion is exactly on target for next tick. Well done!
We had a slight uptick on HR 4979 which should continue for the next few days.
Anyanwu will drop sharply when the expansion goes live - this is not a concern.
The Election in Anyanwu completed the way we wanted. The war in LFT 926 progresses well too.
Orders mostly the same yet again.
Expansion due ~27th aug.
Please do not do any of the following as they help the enemy:
Do NOT work for other factions in our systems, unless requested in the orders.
Do NOT hand in bounties for any faction other than The Dark Wheel in our systems.
Do NOT hand in trade goods or cartography data to stations that we do not own.
Tasks for today:
Bounty Hunting & Combat:
- Bounty Hunting in LFT 926, Anyanwu or HR 4979. Hand in to HR 4979 or Shinrarta
- Bounty hunting at the compromised Nav beacon in Anyanwu is also good.
- WAR - Conflict zones in LFT 926 supporting CIA against Los Chupacabras
Commodity Trading
- Profitable trades into Iqbal Hub in HR 4979
- Profitable trades into TDW owned ground stations in Shinrarta
Missions & Passengers
- Missions for TDW in HR 4979
- Missions for TDW in Shinrarta
- Combat related missions for CIA in LFT 926
Exploration Data:
- Hand in to Iqbal Hub in HR 4979
- Hand in TDW ground stations in Shinrarta
Please continue to use EDMC or similar tools to keep local data up to date.
Keep Spinning The Wheel, Hamsters!
If you cash in bounty vouchers, they will only benefit the ruling faction - which, in a new system, won't be TDW.
Lyvan Kitaen has it right. You can farm TDW bounties elsewhere and hand them in to our new system, even though we are not in control of anything yet. Bounties are not tied to a station or system, but rather to the faction so are portable between systems.
There are decent RES sites in both Anyanwu and HR 4979 that are much easier to farm than poor old LFT 926 ever was. Retaining ownership of these two systems is important for our growth for some time to come.
Medb was one of the destination systems for passenger mission farming back before that was nerfed into the ground. One of my alts farmed up enough money for an Anaconda on this and similar long distance runs. I think the most popular run started from Rhea.
Bounty vouchers benefit the faction that grants the bounty, so long as it is handed in to a station in a system where the faction is present.
