It's just an example for expecting inferior game, quality and performance coming off it.
I like to dress up as an Imperial Inquisitor from Warhammer 40K and have my FWB dress up as a Seductress Chaos Demon. Then I have to spank the Chaos Warp out of her until she submits to the Glory of the Emperor of Man.
Doesn't make any sense, but... ok?
And I'm not intersted in MP anyway. The power creep saw to that.

Talking in riddles is a theme of yours, which is great but none of it really relevant to this thread though. Are you running an ARG??
What good is crossplay for? MP. Look at thread title. I'm not interested in MP.
Summons it up nicely. I would also say that being able to opt out for open would be nice, given that open is the free for all pvp ganking server and pvp is inherently unbalanced between console and windows.
Being able to have a cross play group for things like expeditions would be invalulable.

As for inbalance between PvP groups. The main imbalance is pilot skill more than control scheme in the PvP world, we are not held back by the hardware. I don't doubt there are more pilots that are better at PvP on the pc side but as a console peasant I would welcome fighting them as it would force me to improve and a busier universe with more skilled opponents would be much more fun.
But don't worry too much about the mismatch in hardware, the mismatch in skill is a far greater factor from pilot to pilot.

That's actually a good summary description of where we are at with cross play on Elite atm.

99% of XBox PvP players would be royally penetrated by even mediocre PC PvP wannabees. Walking plays on XBox for recreational purposes. Him coming to XBox is like coming in endgame gear to the High Wall of Lothric after a Steam sale
I'm currently dressed as a T9 wondering why no one else has bothered.
For the record, Walking started off on Xbox then moved to PC..he was always that good. There's a few on console that are decent.

For some people that PvP shooting each other is the whole reason to play the game (and lots and lots of fun)
I had to buy the game on Xbox for this very reason, although I only ever play that version with a friend. I much prefer PC, and the PC version is definitely far superior, so cross-play would be most welcome.
