I believe the reference to reinforcements was on the AAA side - although not entirely certain.Took 3 mentions of Beryllium before I realised it wasn't a Star Trek referenceHave pondered that Colonia would be a good first strike for the Thargs, have wondered how that would affect any inter-human conflict.
iirc someone said reinforcements had arrived from the bubble yesterday but not mentioned again (presume a fleet of FCs or something?) And now another push by another faction? Do I sense this war might be over but Viva la Resistance? And a Resistance doesn't need to operate in its home territory?
Thanks for the write ups and info everyone just some more of the 'whats actually happening' on the ground is unclear....which may be deliberate in which case I'll just have to wait.
The 'war' won't be over for a long time, individual battles, however described, are expected to continue into the future.

Wrong!I was attacked first dropping off exploration data in my Asp Explorer.Not only were we pulling maintenance for EN we were also helping other factions in Colonia so they could enjoy their selves on DW2.Grant it, on roster we had over 70+ people but in fact we had only 9 or so players that were regularly active.
So, with only 9 or so active players, there could hardly have been a vast number of players being blown up, as was intimated earlier?
Only asking for clarification purposes as the suggestion was that Loren's Legion, (as they were in those days) with a double handful of players in the Nebula (at best), were laying waste to many, many players in their mission to liberate Carcosa.
On roster we, ps4 Reapers, have 6, but only 8 regularly active.
That's what you get for having big roster of inactive members.
We have more active cmdrs than members.
I dare to say we're one of biggest active ps4 groups now....

I don't know if I would go that far. Granted, in the Nebula, I could count the number of CMDRs I encounter in Open each week on one or two hands. But e.g. the old DW02 squadron still has iirc somewhere in the 800s members on paper, and their PSN community is quite active. If I could wager a guess I'd say the same goes for several other squads in the bubble.
Of course, If you go by player count x determination x pure awesomeness it's a wholly different equation...

I think it is quite obvious from the above posts that the assertion LR were heavily involved in Distant Ganks is wrong. Looks like Akuma scored a bit of an own goal there. However that does not mean that LR did not take advantage of ENs absence from Colonia during DW2 to take Carcosa, which I think looks pretty clear at this point. Which, to be frank, is fine. LR saw an opportunity and took it. What is not fine is acting like a victim afterwards and it is becoming more and more clear why EN are motivated to take Carcosa back. What I am seeing here is that LR are opportunists with no qualms (also fine) but then I really don't see why they should be suprised if the people they take advantage of strike back.
All that being said, the BGS side still remains very interesting. I said last week that I think there is more to come and now with Civitas Dei in the system it seems pretty obvious what will happen. Nameless will get locked out of control if and when EN and Civitas Dei take all three stations. I think assumptions that they will turn on each other are premature. The repeated locks in Union show that they are working together so don't be suprised if that continues. Sure, maybe they'll turn on each other in future but if that happens we'll just have The Call to Arms to free Colonia 2, so order your popcorn in adcance.
