Totally getting Firefly vibes in Odyssey off of those settlements and the way they described the scavenging mechanics.

There's also a character named Inara!!

well it took me ages too - i bought the DVDs last year - and i got as hooked on it as you did. classic stuff.

Tough call, as the Serenity could launch 2 shuttles, carry a lot of cargo and still be maneuveble as hell. Combat worthy enough too to fight in the Unification wars.

It absolutely ticked me off to no end when they killed off the Preacher in Serenity. He was my favorite character. Something about him always made me wonder.....might this man actually be a member of the supreme council? He had far too much knowledge and clout to be a mere Preacher.

Never watched it........only knew it existed from an episode of The Big Bang Theory

Preacher was definitely high up in the Alliance military ranking. Probably lead a double life as well since he wasn't hostile to the browncoats was he?

Hope our CG and Powerplay characters have as much depth and complexity. It irritates me no end when FD makes them a caricature of what they're supposed to be.
