Ya the Linguistics and Ancient Aliens was just spitballing fun... but im ready to hang my hat on the Parijat Tale being the Childrens story of Princess Astrophel and the Spiraling stars... It hits all the points.
Childrens Tale - Check, The story of Parijat has been a standard Childrens tale for a long time.
Princess - Check
Astrophel - I have long thought that Astrophel was not the obvious Philip Sidney story but rather - someone who loved the stars, I kept thinking it was an astronomer.... but Parijat literaly fell in love with Surya the Sun. so Check
Spiraling Stars - Check, The Parijat myth is tied into the Churning of the Milky Ocean (Milky Way), wihich also hits all the Omphalos and Creation Myth Elements.
Ya I also think that Holdstock might have used Indian Mythology a bit in his writings. And ya I think the Raxxla Symbol is supposed to be a Yantra of some sorts...
But in general I think this points us to needing to look closer at Hindu Creation Mythology to use as a text for pulling out some possible clues.... The Confluence.... Again Possible ties to Sirius.... And the idea of Ratnas as the samarandara pearls
Give me a connection to Isis or the Two Ladies (Wadjet, Nekhbet) and we are onto something.
I also skimmed "Astrophel and Stella" by Philip Sydney and I was explicitly looking for any mention of "Psyche" since Cupid is mentioned. This would have been my connection to Isis, but alas, no mentioned of Psyche. So at the current time I only have dead ends.

Also keep in mind the Children of Raxxla are a player created faction and it would be highly unlikely they or any of their related images are key in the quest to find Raxxla but thats just my 2 cents
thought something like that, heard that previous posters had similar expiriences, the striking resemblance in colour to the dark wheel codex entry had my heart beating for a good while though. Thank you for easing my mind.
My standing with the Green Party of Lung is on Cordial, have done some missions for them but not that many.
true, but the emblem they use is older than the player faction and also depicted in the raxxla codex entry with no mention of the children of raxxla player faction. correct me if im wrong, im following this lead as of now.
still inclined to think that the 6 pointers on the emblem could be connected to the 6 descriptions of the toast.

Ya to be honest I was just playing with ideas there... I dont remember a hard date for that - but also since we know the Thargoids are still around and suspect that there is a possibility that some Guardians or atleast their AI might still be around ... who knows maybe Earth was a later unrecorded skirmish?

Maybe they wiped them out because of oppression. Remember the only history we have about them was written by a third party.
Exactly and also remember the AI seen both the Guardians and thargoids as a threat, thargoids are still around.... Perhaps maybe we are the AIs creation/failure, maybe they thought they may save the guardians in primitive form, drop us on earth and then we just turn into the same war hungry carnivores we are and the thargoid war resumes after all our tech matches well with guardians tech and has freakish simularitys for such a vast universe
I think no one has found raxxla yet to this date due to the fact everyone has dived way to deep into rabbit holes, the phraze it may be right under our noses may mean more simple meaning and thinking is required considering everyone has tried and tested multiple and mental approaches yet raxxla has been around far beyond most technological advances in the game itself if we are to beleive it is in the game that is
i sort of agree with this. didnt fdev say something along the lines of "can't belive it hasnt been found yet"? or is that just a rumor like the "someone has been there and honked it" statement?
I've spent the last few days considering all sorts of connections to the toast (persephone the lost daughter = parents grief, hades in love with persephone = lovers woe,etc etc) Lately i've considered the edges of the space map as indicator, namely the void, the abyss and lyra's song seem interesting to me, having connections to the toast (lyra and sirens are connected and the void seems like a obvious one) but even making these connections, what would you do with it? we don't know that we are searching for, or what a clue could even be. I've lined up multiple constellations with the emblem but with the scale of things its nearly impossible to determine a center or a point. Im not giving up quite yet but the lead is starting to dry out. Any tipps or ideas appreciated.
It has to be atleast a bit more obvious than scrolling pages and pages of mythology and 10+ year old ED lore for bits that lead into rabbithole after rabbithole... right?
