To be honest, i'm not sure what you are driving at or why you are even mentioning eithcs.
Its just a business/marketing decision. Who do you give early access keys to? Those who are most likely going to give good reivews and be fairly critical.
Yamiks is a fan (i'm sure i've jokingly called him a fanboy on more than one occasion) despite his criticism, but he will use the access to generate some cheap laughs. Its his idiom.
So from FD's perspective i'm sure its just a case of "let him wait for a few days longer to get those cheap laughs"

Because Yamiks complaining about it, is VERY unprofessional. How unprofessional? If he was an actor, he could pretty much accept he'd never work as an actor ever again. Yes I know, he's not an actor, but he is in the entertainment industry.

Have you bothered to ask if they've given ANY alpha keys out? Have you bothered to ask how Yamiks worded the request? Have you bothered to ask why Yamiks doesn't have an LEP, or hasn't already bought the Alpha?

FDev has given Yamiks something much more valuable than an Alpha key: a half pound of salty beef.
Let’s face it: Yamiks is one of the most honest creators out there - he calls it when it’s good and, more importantly, when it’s bad. There are forum dad shills on here who never criticise and would praise FDev if they released a new ship that was basically a yoghurt pot with no hardpoints: creators like Yamiks are necessary as they provide a counterpoint. It looks like honesty doesn’t go down too well though, and criticism - creative or not - isn’t welcome.
Genuinely hope the other content creators refuse to give any feedback on the basis that FDev has basically called them shills who they trust to “say the right thing”.
