Game Discussions Star Citizen Discussion Thread v12

I've got like a gazillion MSR's as well as a plethora of Caterpillars at the moment...loaners for the Hercs until they actually appear. I look down my ship list at the ASOP terminal to see doubles, trebles or quadruples of everything thanks to the loaner system for late or non appearing jpegs...4 MSR's, 4 Caterpillars, 2 Prospectors plus a load of random shyte I've no idea what to do with... I can put a different paint job on each MSR I suppose :D

lol, see how many more duplicates you can generate :)

Watched my mate land his Cutty Black earlier, perfect landing at HDMS-Lathan, Ariel, ramp comes down and as soon as it touched the pad BOOM, two ends of the ship popped in half like double ended corks, huge fire ball and my mate shoots out the back of the Cutty like a missile and ends up on his backside half way across the pad. the explosion catapulted him out

I wish i was recording, it was ###### hilarious.

You can pre-buy a rendering of what an Idris will look like for the low low price of $1500. Limited stock, you don't want to miss out.

Available only during fund raising for the game, this Idris will come with a lifetime warranty direct from the manufacturer and comes complete with auto-cleaning toilets. Now isn't that a deal.
I know this is so yesterday and 9 sheets ago, but could quantity, limited stock etc, actually be a thing now? If the servers only can handle 1 or 2 big ships, at a time, then ultimately maybe they cant actually sell too many, or the whole thing will implode. So now they've sold these huge packages with huge ships, in limited quantity, as a good way to create a rush market, but they may have to introduce server limits i.e. to use your big ships, you have to send a request and wait for an ok? Hey CR, did those prices include usage fee? I could see an easy $5 per hour for using your big ships. Whale bragging rights, included.

Nope, just good old artificial rarity in a rather silly attempt to portray the big money items as somehow undeniably desirable...marketing idea and nothing to do with the supposed space game. :)

"Why wait in line to use your fancy new immersion chariot? For this low price, you can purchase a Fast 'Verse Pass, giving you priority in the queue.* See below for prices." - RSI, probably

*Waiting times may not differ much from regular waiting times. Not responsible for crashes.
