I will never be intimidated in to silence by anyone. So far this game is unplayable for me and I will continue to say so until it changes.
Give feedbackThat's clearly wrong, I've done all three over the lifetime of the game. At the moment I'm complaining (because the product is inadequate) and playing. Crazy stuff!
Give feedback
Give constructive criticism
Voice an opinion
Report bugs and issues through the correct reporting methods
None of those are complaining.
I came here to say that we should not give FDev any more money until they sort it out,it's the only language it seems they understand, but you beat me to it in style.Best thing players can do.
if enough people do that for long enough, that might bring a culture change - that is way more damaging to them than trying to get a lawsuit happening.
- Dont buy ARX or buy any more Fdev games
- Post to new FDEV games being published saying that you will not spend money on a FDev published game until there are real cultural changes in the company
- Do above to all the social media pages of Fdev internal and published games
- Do not recommend those games anywhere
- On any reviews of those games, do the same explaining why FDev are a lying company
Fdev are not a company any prospective game dev should be looking at for publisher with this debacle called Odyssey
adapt or die, its more traditional like that ya knowCulture change. You should hear yourself talk. You can't be serious
Why would anybody want to give their money to a company that rips you off, doesn't deliver on promises and refuses to communicate or tell the truth? That just seems masochistic to me.I can only hope that at least you know what you are blubbering about. But you seem to find yourself funny. That's a good start at least.![]()
in case you dont get it, the "its more traditional" is the meme Arf created by saying that porting into a spaceship is "more traditional"I can only hope that at least you know what you are blubbering about. But you seem to find yourself funny. That's a good start at least.![]()
If I may draw a parallel OP - there are quite a few of us who are outspoken critics of Star Citizen and CIG. Our words have appeared in social media, youtube videos, and gaming press articles. But at the end of the day, its all just words on the wind.
SC will succeed or fail not due to our words. Its success or failure is 100% on CIG and what they do.
By the same token, rant and rave all you like. Take it to social media (many have), take it to the gaming press, take it all the way to president.
Its just words on the wind and everything is in FD's hands, not yours.

This isn't true. Along with our wallets, you can vote with your playtime.
But that isn't what i was responding to. Those are not words.
You missed the bit at the end, where you're also wrong about that.
If anything, coordinated social/media action can have a major impact on a company in today's environment.
Even uncoordinated social/media can, as it can evolve in unpredictable ways.
I'll disagree about that part. It will blow over. It always does. Especially as FD go on to fix the major issues. Those who are really disgruntled will move on with their lives while those who are happy with the fixes will get on with playing the game.
Coordinated social media action does not make developers to make lines quality code even one iota faster. Only thing it can possibly do is to damage the brand/company.You missed the bit at the end, where you're also wrong about that.

Fdev already did that, we are just carrying the story - it was management who did this and who should be held to blameCoordinated social media action does not make developers to make lines quality code even one iota faster. Only thing it can possibly do is to damage the brand/company.
And this is exactly why they released it as they did. Slow hand clap.
Nice passive-aggressive dig there too, at the "really disgruntled".
FDev gambled there's enough people who will "put up with it", thereby reinforcing their decision process as correct.
You can see this from the "roadmap" post as well.
