Nah, that’s very black & white from you, as always. There are plenty of discussions of SC positives around here. Mole & other regular players discuss game sessions and what they enjoy about SC. Credit is always given more broadly to its visuals and vibe, and as a gaggle of space heads, we naturally paw over new additions, looking for signs of progress towards a launchable product, or lavish novelties you wouldn’t find elsewhere. (I’m intrigued to see how the flight system & proposed pressure limits interact with new cloud tech for example, and have said as much

).
But what the thread has a low tolerance for on the whole, are posters who refuse to countenance any negatives, focusing on the positive-alone with such dedication that they end up elevating relative minutia to epic status and significance (Building Blocks cough cough

). Parroting these aspects in an attempt to flood away the nasty negatives which they don’t wish to be discussed. The years of missed deadlines for transformative networking architecture, and what they say about the technical progress of the project. The prospect of pledges sold for $1000s never being realised, and what that would say about the morality of the project. The many many years of evidence which undercut the trite cries of 'Server Meshing coming

’
There are ton of places where people can discuss SC ultimately, and anyone who can find this thread can find them too. If they want to just daydream of a land of VR and honey, then the subreddit is pretty good for that on the whole
