Gotta be fair to them in this regard: I just received an email from support saying they would have no problem with giving me a refund (Steam's refund policy is the stumbling block - I've played for 1,998 too many hours to qualify). I'd previously been under the impression that Frontier were point-blank refusing to refund but they're nowhere near as unreasonable as I'd been led to believe. It's all very easy to state you are grateful for peoples patience when you give them no other option, it might mean something if you offered refunds to those who have asked for them so your players have a choice for you to be grateful for.
Lol, congratulations!YO D-BRABS!
Mrs. Carnage is having a baby in January. Please launch the console version a few weeks before that, aight?
Kthnx.
This is unfortunately quite often the case - users will exaggerate when venting and others believe it and rant for the same thing... While in reality it's not as bad. (Not talking about refund policy specifically, but about negative criticism in general).Gotta be fair to them in this regard: I just received an email from support saying they would have no problem with giving me a refund (Steam's refund policy is the stumbling block - I've played for 1,998 too many hours to qualify). Have you personally asked for a refund yourself or are you (like I was) basing your comment on what you've read from others?
Cool VR and ship interiors confirmed....DBOBE specifically mentioned new features and new development that will be highlighted during the development updates.
Requested and refused, but it was a LTP so not unexpected lol, would happily take a partial (which I suggested, as in take full launch retail for Horizons and refund the rest) as I've no interest in the direction Elite has taken and even less interest without full VR, zero confidence in things getting better at all.Gotta be fair to them in this regard: I just received an email from support saying they would have no problem with giving me a refund (Steam's refund policy is the stumbling block - I've played for 1,998 too many hours to qualify). I liked your post simply for the 40k Reference. lol. While I agree that we PC players ARE, in fact, the master race, we are also the unofficial beta guinea pigs.
However, like the Ultramarines, WE FEAR NOTHING. Bring it.![]()
No.Sir, does this message signify the transition to Elite Dangerous Odyssey = Star Citizen?![]()
Do you have the title Sir?No.
Thanks.
Can I haz your stuphs? Not interested. FDev lost me with this crap. Unless they add ship interiors, PROPER ship interiors ill not be installing ODDyssey. CMDR Y2K - Tripple Elite, King, Admiral, 50 billion cash, A Carrier with over 10yrs funding, Every single ship fully engineered and over 15,000hrs played.
Hundreds of hours have been invested in the acquisition, outfitting, and engineering of our ship fleets - the very heart of ED and Horizons. ODY did nothing to expand upon that central element, rendering my multi-billion-credit fleet an obscenely expensive taxi service to ODY content. In fact, no fleet is required to play ODY.Elite Dangerous Odyssey is an important step on a complicated journey, and we must get this right, before we can consider moving on to these new platforms.
